This place was crap on a Saturday night. Not that many people there. Bartender was ok, didn’t do bad on a basic rum & Coke but he was pre-ocupied talking to some girl.

Had a damn good night at the Black Oak Tavern a week or so ago. Good prices, good music, and a good bartender. What more could a man want in Oneonta on a cold night in December. Thank you Wayne till I darken the door of the Oak Tavern again.

Dark, dank and friendly, just like all the best dive bars should be. The bloody mary was delicious and the puppy behind the bar was adorable.
