I've had a hard time finding any place that gives such large quantity of food ..great . Presentation very professional.. great service and all in all what is the best experiences I've had with a catering company ..my family and friends from New Jersey.. and also upstate New York.. we're absolutely delighted.. Absolutely ridiculous- the food for my sisters wedding was served almost 3 hours late (at 9:00pm) and most of it was raw and inedible- this includes raw potatoes and raw chicken. The hot food was cold and was not served or stored properly. After “dinner” , they just bailed , leaving sternos lit and a complete buffet setup left outside. We had to clean up their stuff ourselves as well as bus the entire venue and haul bags and bags of uneaten raw food inside so bears wouldn’t get it. Extremely unprofessional and horrible experience. Zero stars

Raw food! Completely unprofessional. Besides showing up over 3 hours late, all of the food was cold. The chicken parm was raw, and was taken away from people who were eating it (including small children and elderly). Hot food was not kept in the appropriate serving trays. It was served from big metal bowls with not heat source. Rosemary potatoes, were raw - not edible. Pork was rare. Awful. My poor family members, who's wedding reception it was, were totally ripped off!

Mike at Elena Michael's Catering does a wonderful job! I had the experience recently of his cooking & hospitality and it was all amazing! His deserts were todie for, his beef loin was delicious and perfectly cooked, the appetizers were so good, the salad was amazing. I love that the salad was a green salad and wasn't made with ice burg lettuce. He was greeting everyone and was very personable. Overall I would 100% recommend his catering for any of your upcoming events.

We have used Elena’s Michael several times and have been very pleased each time. We have also been guests at gathering’s Michael has catered and enjoyed those just as well!His varied menu offerings and selections have something for everyone. Everything is plated and displayed brilliantly. His cheesecake and Italian cookie dessert towers are impossible to resist…We would definitely recommend Elena’s Michael.

Terrible experience! Hired him for a party for 120 people. Met with him prior. Agreed on menu items and particulars of how things were to be served. Two menu items he didn’t even show up with or serve. First course came out late, courses after that were all way late. Party started at 4, desserts never came out until 10. Eggplant was so salty you couldn’t eat it, summer salad was wilted and so spicy you couldn’t eat it. Roasted potatoes were burned, shrimp and roasted vegetables, which were on the menu, were never served. He agreed to bring 5 servers which he did not. We ended up using our guests to serve and clean tables. Desserts were warm, mushy and melted when served. assorted fruit, which was on the menu, consisted of watermelon only. When we expressed our displeasure at not having the menu items we agreed upon, he had a lot of excuses. We met with him after our party expressing our concerns of slow service (5 hours) for courses to be served, no staff as agreed upon, menu items that were agreed upon( roasted vegetables and shrimp on skewers) not brought to party or served, and several food items just not cooked /served in a professional manner. We asked for a discount on our total and his response was, no. There were many issues getting food out of the kitchen in a timely manner and I believe he could have spent more time concentrating on those issues rather than making excuses. My opinion is this man is very unprofessional!!

Couldn't speak more highly of Michael and his crew! As a bunch of foodies coming from San Francisco, DC and CT, we had high expectations and they were more than met. Easy to work with and willing to work with all kinds of menu requests (from kids to vegan)and sizes of group (ours changed daily from 9 to 17) and he managed to satisfy all. On top of that, he came in last minute as another caterer cancelled. The homemade italian cookies and cheesecake are a no-miss. Loved his staff - Monica is one of my favorites now! We will surely use them on out next visit!

Me and Coach Mike go way back from when I was working on his baseball operations staff at the Cooperstown all Star Village. Mike is now doing a incredible job taking care of athletic program with some of the best pregame and post game meals. I’m now the head baseball coach at near by SUNY Cobleskill and Mike has done an outstanding Job taking care of our pregame and post game meals. He has accommodated us in every way. Go with them if you are looking for quality!!!!
