Beautiful delicious pastries. Streusel apple cranberry pie for Thanksgiving a great hit with my family. Special order apple spice cupcakes were awesome. Pernil with rice and beans, and fried plantain was an excellent treat.

My first visit was to buy dessert for dinner at a friend's house. We were all blown away with the taste and presentation of the pastries/cakes. The second visit was for Easter brunch sweets. Along with georgeous sweets, there were delicious savory pastries as well. I had NO idea this place even existed. It's been in Oneonta for four years!!! If you want to be impressed, try this place. I'm still not sure what they're called, but you HAVE to try the layered "clam shell shaped" Italian pastries. This place is a hidden gem.

I ordered the Valentine’s Day special of strawberries and red velvet cake and was so impressed! Besides being obviously beautiful, every strawberry was top quality. The crunch coated strawberries were unique and ended up being my favorite. The cake was perfect red velvet with a light frosting that wasn’t too sweet.

King's Kakery Pastry Shop is a little shop that i honestly have never really heard of before until yesterday when i got the chance to do a job for the owner Allison which may i say is a very kind and down to earth lady , i got the chance to be there while she was filling an order for a customer and may i say yum lol the pastry's she was making made my mouth water and my stomache talk , she gave me a sample taste of her buttercream frosting and if i may say so myself it tasted amazing honestly the best i have had i normally do not like buttercream frosting but hers i would eat over and over again , so if you ever get a chance stop by and see what she has or check king's kakery pastry shop out online she will not disappoint for sure !

I had some of the best oxtail I've ever eaten. They make some of the most exquisite Caribbean food, which is saying a whole lot for this small town. I also had a lovely piece of cake with this order (not pictured), and the buttercream frosting makes your eyes roll back, and the cake itself was moist and yummy. I highly recommend eating here if you get a chance!

We had purchased a wonderful treat from a booth at a festival and we're very excited when we saw the "brick and mortar" store front! We stopped in to see what they had and it was very difficult to make up our minds! Cup of coffee was a given, which was served with actual cream and sugar! We decided on a raspberry croissant and a blueberry cream cheese tart - we split them in half and shared! The pastries were served warm and definitely did not disappoint!!! Can't wait for a return trip!

Absolutely fantastic bakery!! The cinnamon rolls and croissants were out of this world. Both the sweet and savory scones were unbelievably good. Can't wait to try the cookies and other goodies we bought. We're hoping that our son chooses to go to SUNY Oneonta so we can come back here again and again. Wonderful owners, too. Such sweet, kind people.
