The chef was amazing: his shrimp flips and onion volcano made the meal feel like a show, and my salmon was seared to tender, flavorful perfection. Service was quick and friendly, no awkward interruptions. I’ll 100% return next time I want great Japanese food with a smile!

Not many people come here regularly. The service is virtually non existent as you have to track someone down to get a drink refill or order more food. The hibachi chef we had was one of the best I've ever seen.

Never got to taste the food! Got there at 8:40 with other couples behind us. Open light flashing and was turned down for service. If your closing at 8:30, instead of 9, then specify 8:30 online!

Kinda hard to stay in business when you turn people away. I get that you close at 9 and it was 8:45.... We had a late ballgame. We watched them turn another table of 3 away as well. Just close at 830... 🙄 or maybe you just need the money? Idk...

I was alone so I was seated at the sushi bar after standing 5 minutes at hostess station. No problem. It was even my suggestion so I would not take up a table. Could not even get a glass of water let alone put in an order. Sat for 10 minutes without being acknowledged with countless wait staff traffic walking by me. Just got up and left

I was disappointed in the food. They have very few vegetarian options & even if you order vegetarian, they cook it together with the meat, shrimp, etc. Even the meat dishes aren't that good. 3/5. Edit 2024. Went a couple times in 2024 and the server has a really bad attitude and is quite rude. Lowered to 2/5

So where to begin. Went last night, 8/15/24. Food was good. Hibachi guy was good. Servers at beginning were kinda rude. Then when the bill came, anger set in. 3 copies of bill came. Top one for merchant with place to insert tip; bill was like $188 before tip . Middle copy for our records. Bottom copy for merchant also. However, the bottom copy was like $188, but that was with the tip already added in. Thankfully my husband was paying attention. The place already added the tip and then almost got another tip on top of that based on placement order of receipts. Please pay attention to your receipts.

Great food and good for a brunch or lunch. A bit on the pricey side for dinner or some menu items, families or groups should keep this in mind. Sushi is good, soups are good, and bottled soda is fun for kids.

Not sure what the beef was made out of but it wasn't steak sitting on bed of onions, no real veggies, the miso soup was awful. The ginger salad dressing was a watered down thousand island. The broccoli and lettuce had browned and gone bad. The chicken was cold and the lady t the next table complained her food was still frozen. This was the worst meal I have eaten ever. Would not recommend.

The Gozya tasted just like a frozen brand. Tea cup was dirty, not stained, dirty. You could wipe the residue off the inside of the cup, with your finger. Waitress tried to take my plate, while I was still eating, did this to another table as well. Watched the waitress serve a beer and then ask the customer for id, had to laugh at that one. Sushi was good, but nothing special. Won’t be going back
