Had dinner and three lunches here during a work trip. Grilled ham and cheese, soup, salad and the meatloaf/mashed/vegetables were all very good. (I asked for gravy on the side as I’m not a fan of “smothered”). Attentive, friendly staff. Established 1927, closed for a few years but reopened a while ago. Worth a visit.

Ordered a delivery online, asked for openface turkey with mashed potatoes. I requested no toast but with extra mashed potatoes bc I am gluten free. The restaurant called me to say I can’t have extra potatoes unless I pay extra. I think the bread probably cost more than the potato. The woman on the phone wasn’t very nice either. The cheese Kurds ( not for me) were over cooked with no dipping sauce. Boneless wings were ok but no sides. Not worth 58$!

food here is great but one problem I had was that I ordered a lasagna and it was pretty good but after eating I found a screw in my food and I didn’t realize until I almost swallowed it. The waitress told me it has happened before and that it could possibly be the pans. Just look out for what you eat there because apparently there appliances aren’t up to date or they just want to put screws in peoples food

My son had a screw in his dinner. The waitress said that this has happened before. I talked to the manager and she was rude and said she comp his meal. Really???? This has happened before!!! WTH. Why are there screws in your food? She said it might have come from the pan. What pan has screws in it? I feel someone is trying to hurt people. Just an fyi

Very busy the day I was there. Food was amazing. Service was great. Orders took a little longer than expected but it was very busy. Thank goodness they had tables outside or there would have been a line.
Ordered a large pizza and chicken wings. The food is very good. The menu is expansive.Average prices. I would give them 5 stars but our server was mediocre at best. Never asked how we liked our food, never asked if we wanted refills. Just dropped the food at our table and the next time we saw her is when she gave us the check. This seems to happen a lot more so now and it’s not just here. Being a former server myself, there are various steps to give great service and it seems she would be good if she had the proper training. Anyhow, we will go back but tipping is based on level of service, not take it for granted you will get a large proportioned tip for just bringing out the food and dropping the check the next time back to the table. It doesn’t work that way. Anyhow, it showed in her tip. The only other thing is the location. It’s on a blinding curve and parking you are taking your life in your hands. Use extreme caution.
