First time visiting polor bear ice cream. Very welcoming atmosphere and staff was very helping explain time and flavors of ice cream. The Bathroom was Immaculate and Taken care of.They have a Lot of Unique and Yummy Flavors of Ice Cream. And SO many Toppings! The stuff gave a Generous amount with the Free samples and made it hard for Me to Be Decisive on a Flavor!!They have seasonal flavors such as Pumpkin CheesecakeWith Real homemade cheesecake Bits)The yellow jackets do seems to have been a little Intrusive when we went, but we were gentle so they didn’t really bother us, it was hot so the ice cream melted A little Bit which was why they liked us so much!The Pond and little sitting area are nice. I rated this place 4 stars because the ice cream is delicious and there is a nice deck space overlooking a manmade pond. But...inside the music is waaay too loud and that clicking school bus lights thing on the wall made me want to tear it down (seriously, I don't know how the employees work there) Thank God for outdoor seating! Back to the ice cream, lots of great flavors to choose from! Will go again as long as I can escape the noise.

love this place between Oneonta and Delhi on Rte 28. fav = root beer float w/ *hard* scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, take it outside to an expanded seating area and tables OVERLOOKING a great view of the mountains and a large pond. quintessential Catskills! what a day for a daydream...

So google said it was closed yesterday but we risked it and made the " huge" voyage from oneonta to polarbear? to our suprise it was open!!Not packed and had the walk up window open we ordered and had our delishous icecream outside on the picnic tables, it was perfect, they had excellent music playing( sirus xm) ?? I was tankful they had a napkin dispenser outside ( messy toddler) and the place was extremely clean!I dont get to come there often but everytime I do they keep the place looking good! And thats why I would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone!?
