Cozy, artist environs and wonderfully kind service. We dropped in on a Saturday not knowing that they were having a beer sampling day. We tried more than a dozen craft brews while hanging out. Five star experience.

We ate dinner at Roost for the first time last night and loved it! My husband and I each had a crunch wrap (he had chicken, I had pork) and they were both delicious. Split the housemade peach cobbler cheesecake, which was amazing. Definitely recommend this place for a meal or a drink!

Met up with friends. The place is cute but has no ac, so it was very muggy inside. The food was great, except I can't do spice anymore, and my tacos had a bit of a kick to them. Service was awesome. All in all, we had a great time. They also made a deconstructed nacho plate for one of our friends' apon request. I do recommend it here, just not when it's humid out.

We stumbled upon this place on our trip to All Star Village for our baseball tournament. Great beer selection, food was delicious, and the service was out of this world. This is not a place to get rush service. This is a place to sit, enjoy the company you are with in a friendly environment. If you have a chance to visit, do so! It was a very happy accident for us today.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place because the decor is interesting and they claim to be a brewery, but the music was way too loud and they don't have their own beers yet. They have a very limited number of beers on tap but a very long list of cans and bottles with no flavor descriptions on the menu. As we were trying to decide and looking up a few online, two different servers kept trying to take our order. We kept saying we needed a few minutes, but every 60 seconds one would be back asking what we wanted. We felt really rushed. One asked what we typically like so they could make suggestions, but none hit the mark. Their descriptions of beer were unhelpful and mainly consisted of "that one is my favorite." After ordering under pressure, I ended up with a bottle of beer I didn't like (served with a dripping wet glass), which my boyfriend ended up drinking. We just wanted to relax at the end of the day but couldn't hear ourselves think, even if they gave us time to. We got out of there as quickly as possible and won't go back.

An awesome, eclectic and welcoming spot! Great service, a great selection of beers (some on tap, lots of cans) and tasty food. They were also very accommodating for our picky kid (don't crisp the quesadilla) which was much appreciated. All in all, Roots Brewing is a great spot to relax and recharge and have some tasty suds. Highly recommended if in Oneonta!
