I started my morning in Oneonta by googling "best breakfast" and Soda Jerks was a pretty universal recommendation. The food (egg Sandwichs and a short stack of their phenomenal ginger carrot pancakes) was delicious, service was wonderful and the space is charming.
The custom sodas are delicious.
Parking: Easy and plentiful parking.

We came to Oneonta for our son's 12u teach baseball team. They are playing at All Star Village. One of the days we stopped here for lunch and found it to be an overall great experience.
Heather was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She described the soda and fresh ingredients used in the cafe, and how they're created in house. The decor has tons of fun nostalgic items and it's got a fun vibe.
The French fries were some of the best we've ever had, and they were cut and fried in the same day. We will definitely visit again before we leave.
I enjoyed the double "loaded" burger.
Cheers!

We had some coffee while we waited for an inspection. It was a quaint little tiny diner that was retro and had an old jukebox and old wood stove decorated.

We have been there 2 times and will never go again. Service was good the 1st time but really crappy the 2nd time. No menu's, you had to have a smart phone to see the menu. My meal, biscuits and sausage gravy, was just lukewarm to cold. Coffee was lukewarm. I ate the meal anyways but probably should have said something and went to pay the bill and probably stood there for at least 10 minutes foe someone to come and take our money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazingly family friendly! We were so
Comfortable dining out with a toddler we were just praying on the food. I’ll tell you the toast was thick and the omelette was thicker! 10/10 restaurant. (It’s much bigger on the inside btw). Park anywhere just don’t block the car bays. The place is second generation family owned businesses, so stop spending your money anywhere else.
Vegetarian options: Make everything the way you want.
Dietary restrictions: Literally so considerate.
Kid-friendliness: Beyond anywhere I’ve ever gone. You can tell kids themselves were raised in this restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Close parking and a flat entrance.

My new morning home in Oneonta. How I missed this for 13 years is beyond me but love the atmosphere, the service and the breakfast quality and prices.Soup and sandwich wasn’t bad either. Everything is made from scratch and lots gluten free options too.Oh and you can hang while your oil is changed. This might be heaven.

This place is a true dinner.
We had an amazing breakfast at 2pm. We come back next day and breakfast was the same, delicious, great tasting and good service. This place Close at 3pm. Ask for the Real home made syrup.
I definitely recommend this place perfect for families and kids.
The place has a pin ball game and they give us the coins for our kids play between the food was getting ready.

The atmosphere could be better. The decor is wonderful. The jukebox was loaded with music that I love. The owner is fantastic. My issue was that there were two regulars at the bar who couldn't finish a sentence without dropping the "F-bomb".I was glad I didn't have my 5 year old Grandson with me. My wife was with me and was not happy about the language and the off color humor.
Dietary restrictions: The owner is very accommodating and offered several gluten free options.
Parking: We parked across the street in another business's parking lot.
