Great prices and sushi.

Sort of a non descriptive front door only male led by the old sign above the front entrance. Walk down a pseudo hallway that opens to the main dining area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great menu options. Many locals can be found dining here. Highly recommended.

Tiger is my go-to spot for sushi in town—it's the only Japanese restaurant here that I’ll dine in at, thanks to their consistently excellent customer service. I usually stick with the standard rolls—Alaskan, salmon & avocado, yellowtail, and cucumber—all of which are fresh and satisfying. Their miso soup is solid, and we always order the hot sake. My husband enjoys the General Tso’s Chicken as well. The staff is attentive and friendly, always checking in and offering refills, which I appreciate. With a large menu offering something for everyone, it’s an all-around great choice!

Sushi was...good. But they keep the ingredients in VERY questionable containers and Temps. So...roll the dice lol.

First time here. Waitress was nice, food was good but the atmosphere was in terrible disarray, Chairs were falling apart, table was rocking with every move, walls were scuffed up and dirty, floor was not clean, lighting was awful and cheap LED strips were falling off the wall. The plastic water cups were terrible and should be thrown away (discolored and rims were chipped (bad).. I will not be revisiting this place unless there is some serious efforts taken to clean the place up. Its a shame though because the food was good.

Tiger Sushi is objectively THE best sushi and Chinese food that you can get in Otsego county. Tiger’s culinary skills are wildly impressive, I have been eating here for around 10 years and I have never received a meal that didn’t WOW me. You can taste how passionate he is about his restaurant. How often have you ordered plain rice or simple miso soup that is amazing all on its own? Even their takeout boxes are beautifully put together! His partner Karen is also incredible at her job, she’s quick, courteous, and kind. She always hooks you up with everything you need! I love coming in, sitting at the bar, and watching Tiger prepare the sushi. His smile and happy demeanor are so uplifting. The restaurant layout is very cozy, it feels like you’re visiting your family when you eat here. If you want food that satisfies your stomach AND your soul, look no further!

Vegetarian options: Almost every menu item has a vegetarian option and there are so many amazing vegetarian rolls. I am not veggie but I love the peanut avocado roll!

Dietary restrictions: Many dairy free, gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

Wheelchair accessibility: Step-free entrance, and wheelchair accessible seating, but I think the bathroom doors aren’t wide enough for a wheelchair of any kind.

I always refused to try sushi, but then I saw sweet potato rings and chicken tempura roll. They made me a sushi lover. It's one of our favorite places to go. Just as good to eat in or take out.

I am really conflicted while writing this review. I visited this shop while on vacation and passing through the area. It seems like most of their business is takeout, as there wasn't a single person dining inside with us, but we did see a lot of orders being prepared and picked up.

I'm giving this place a 3-star rating because the sushi was good, but I am very particular about cleanliness, and unfortunately, I would rate that aspect a 1. Let me explain a bit more.

My friend and I walked in, and we were greeted and seated promptly. The menu has a nice variety of options to choose from.

Starting with the food, which was the good part: I had a soup, kani salad, rock shrimp, and five different types of sushi rolls (eel avocado, Philadelphia, spicy crab, Godzilla, and sunshine).

The soup was very mediocre but not terrible. The kani salad was awesome, and all of the sushi rolls were great. The rock shrimp was perfect and cooked nicely. I am a big fan of Godzilla rolls, and those were my favorite out of the bunch, but the others were also excellent. I had no issues, felt fine afterward, and really enjoyed the meal.

However, let's talk about the cleanliness, which is where things took a turn. While the food tasted fresh, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars, I have serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas, considering the state of the front of the house. The baseboards were filthy, the walls were grimy, and everything felt incredibly sticky. It was an uncomfortable experience because the place felt very run-down and grungy.

Realistically, based on the condition of the space, I would rate this place a 1/5. The cleanliness issues made me uncomfortable. However, the food itself deserves a solid 4.5/5. My overall Yelp rating should be a 1-2, but I am giving a 3 because I understand times are tough, and not everyone has the funds to renovate and fix up their spaces. However, some inexpensive TLC could definitely improve this place.
