I've been looking for a bagel that is similar to the Brooklyn ones that I left behind a few years ago. Finally today I stopped in on impulse to try a bagel. Fifth place in the area that I've been testing for months. I bit into it in my car and that "Chewy Pull" and soft bite is something to talk about. Finally was able to convince my wife to get these instead of Thomas abominations.
Its hit or miss. When they don't mess up an order the food is good. But what hurts Marty's is inconsistencies when it comes to orders. You ask for a ham,egg, and cheese on a plain bagel with no ketchup. Simple? Well you probably will end up with bacon,egg, and cheese WITH ketchup. Extremely frustrating.

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — just the way real New York–style bagels should be.
They have a great variety of spreads, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.
I’m definitely coming back with friends to try more flavors next time.
A true hidden gem for bagel lovers!
