Service was a little slow BUT they were extremely busy. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before someone took our drink order. Our server did apologize many times for the tardiness. Mixed drinks and specialty drinks were very good, especially if you like whiskey. The food came out quickly after ordering . I had the Blackened Shrimp Jambalaya and my wife had the Black Smoke Burger and French Onion Soup as a side She really enjoyed the burger and soup. The jambalaya was amazing!! The blackened shrimp was so flavorful that I could've had a side of that too. Fries were really good as well. Crispy with a seasoning.Look forward to going back for sure.

Decent but largely unremarkable. Had higher expectations I guess. If bourbon is in your name, I tend to expect that to be the focus of everything and this execution needs to be on point and largely everything was acceptable but not remarkable.I could not taste the flavor of the whiskey in the black smoke old fashion... It was hella smoky when they pull the smoker off but the liquid itself was not infused with smoke (to be expected with such a device largely for aesthetics only).The BBQ pulled pork sandwich: pork was tasty by itself but a bit dry and needed a sauce but was not served with a sauce, when I asked for a BBQ sauce the waitress said sure with a smile but it took 2 asks to get the sauce and it was in a to go container... Meanwhile my sandwich had gone cold. Strange to offer a BBQ sandwich with no BBQ sauce or ideally a few options.The Mac and cheese was yummy and the clear ice was nice.Won't be seeking this place out but won't avoid it if I'm near by either...Casual hang it is.

Newish spot in the village of Hamburg. Full menu and bar and indoor, outdoor and roof patio for nicer weather. This spot had a one day soft opening last spring for Hamburg Music Fest and since then they have been building up their menu and getting their bearings. I’ve been in a few times for drinks and the cocktail list is unique, delicious and well put together, something for every liquor preference. Last night was the first time that I have dined here and we were very happy. We started out with the pork belly appetizer. A generous amount and cooked perfectly. My significant other ordered the classic chicken sandwich. He says it was really good. Perfectly cooked bacon, deep fried chicken cooked to a dark golden brown but still very juicy on a fresh brioche bun. I was hoping for the short ribs but they were out. I guess I’ll have to go back and try again later. I settled upon the blackened shrimp jambalaya. Lots of shrimp, chicken and sausage and packed with flavor. Spicy but not overly hot.Overall service was great. And every time I’ve come has been a good experience. Excited to check out the roof when it warms up a little more. The outdoor space is great to visit too. Fire pits and an outdoor tiki bar make this a perfect place to grab a meal or drinks with friends.

The only positive thing I have to say was that our server was very friendly and provided good service. Started off with the old man winter old fashioned. It had very little flavor and tasted mostly like simple syrup. I ordered the Black Smoke smash burger. I think there were only 3 pieces of caramelized onion. I couldn't taste the bacon at all. I'm pretty sure they forgot the bbq sauce and any smoked gouda that may have been in the burger disintegrated during the severe over cooking of the burger. The top patty was so over cooked it was placed on the bun in 4 pieces. It was like chewing on gravel. I've heard very good things and was excited to try this place, and I was extremely disappointed. I hope your staff was just having a bad night. 2 burgers, 2 drinks with tip....$73. We won't be back.

Bottomless Mimosas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Black Smoke Bourbon Bar, I had brunch, the menu was simple, the main squeeze of the menu was the Bottomless mimosas option.There are no vegan options, they should have vegan Chorizo.The pay person is 10-20pp if you’re not having cocktails. Parking is available in the lot a couple doors down from the restaurant.Enjoy
Food was great. My 5th time there. Bartender Connor was not interested in serving. Made weak drinks. And even admitted that he was making me drinks weeks and smaller compared the couple I was drinking with because I don’t good there

Nice place, DISHONEST PRICES.It's a nice place, and the staff is friendly. But I got an unpleasant surprise when I got the check and my drink was DOUBLE than what was listed on the menu. Apparently, they only list the price by "oz," and they serve you two ounces without mentioning it anywhere. In the end, we sorted it out, but that does not solve the false advertising prices in the menu. Be aware.

Great experience here both times I've gone! The most recent time was just for drinks late night. I tried the cookie espresso martini and also tasted the classic smoked old fashion. So good. A couple months ago I had gone for drinks and some apps while we posted up at a table to play some cards - we tried quite a few different cocktails, BBQ pulled pork fries, and the black & white pizza. All fantastic.
