Was there early for dinner @ 5pm on a Saturday party of 9. Chef was very good, food was very good.

Solid experience. Decent food quality and portions. Sushi is a little mass produced quality but was not expecting more than received.

Also, and can't explain why, this place always has incredibly attractive customers.

We've come here a couple times now and love it. We like that they provide a hibachi option without having to sit at the hibachi table. One thing they could work on is bringing all the food out at the same time, not sure if this is because of the hibachi, but it was a little awkward for our table when everyone got their food at different times. Overall we like coming here and the food is good

Everything was great until it came time for the bill. The amount of on the bill wasn’t even the issue. We paid the bill in cash and tipped. Walking out-with my fiancé and my parents the server pulled my fiance to the side and asked if we left a tip and I went and said we did leave a $20 tip. But says we only left $1.70 tip. Gave her a $20 again and called it a day. Rest of the crew was fine but the nerve for that one server to pull my fiance to the side was enough for me to not wanna go there ever again.

That was my second time being there. I have to admit the first half was better in the first server was better when I went there before. But it was good the food was good atmosphere is good

EDITING TO ADD: everything below still applies. One thing I wish they would pay more attention to is portion control. When the person next to me orders the same meal yet the amount of steak I got is a lot less then what they got, it’s horrible. I’m not paying $30 for a plate of noodles and rice with 5 pieces of steak.

Always great! Owners are awesome! Even to-go is so good! We love sitting for hibachi but enjoy to-go when we are busy but still crave yummy Dao!!!! Edited to add… I AM IN LOVE WITH THEIR GINGER DRESSING!!!! I wish they sold it separately so that I could take it home with me!!!
