The food was abundant and presented well. Service excellent. The food was extremely salty from the meatball to the encore. The salad was delicious with the house Parmesan dressing. There was no reason for the food to be so salty. It was well seasoned and fresh. I really don’t get it. It was the general consensus of the whole table.

This was the best dining out that we’ve experienced in a while. Beginning with the welcoming staff, all the extras—complementary soup, freshly made salad on cold plates, lemon cello between courses to the main entree’s delicious-ness! It takes you back to when dinners were special and an event to relax and enjoy, instead of eating and rushing. The Summer Cosmo special drink was delicious and served with the shaker so actually was more than 1 glass. Champagne Chicken (special that night) was tender juicy and tasty served with rice & vegetable. Mussels and shrimp was also excellently prepared and served.

We went to The Dove to celebrate my birthday and they did not disappoint. It was a wonderful meal. The portions were generous and cooked to perfection. Their attention to detail from th complimentary appetizer to the lemonchello through our entrée was spectacular. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. Overall we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return.

My chicken parmigiana was melt in your mouth good! Cheese was perfect. Sauce and noodles as well. A perfect dish. My wife’s eggplant was very good and she is picky. She said the eggplant was thin (which was better). She rarely likes red sauce but she loved this one.

A hidden gem in West Seneca. We celebrated a 70th birthday here a few days ago. A family member who lives there recommended it as we are out of town. The food and service were outstanding. This a more traditional, old school style Italian restaurant, which is what makes it so special. It feels like you are having dinner at your Italian grandmothers house. The food comes out in “courses”- bread/meatballs, appetizers, soup, salad, then entrees, with plenty of time between each. I recently ate at the US’s oldest Italian restaurant in the country in Philly, and The Dove reminded me of that. The eggplant parm was fantastic, and the food and wine prices were very reasonable, especially with the large portions. If you want quick service, go to McDonald’s. If you want a nice, relaxing meal with friendly staff, then go here. Will definitely be going again!

STAY AWAY!!! THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THIS PLACE ARE MISERABLE, TERRIBLE PEOPLE. YELLING AT CUSTOMERS ON WHERE AND HOW TO PARK. KITCHEN HELP BEFORE CUSTOMERS… THEY WILL NOT SURVIVE WITH ATTITUDES LIKE THAT!!! I feel sorry for them.

I have nothing but good things to say about my first ever visit here. Friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The decor could use a bit of sprucing up-dining chairs need an update. All else was superb from the busboy to the friendly waitstaff. The menu itself is comprehensive but when you add the daily specials to it, amazing. Breads served warm with plenty of butter. A nice touch was the complimentary little "amuse bouche" pasta fazoole soup. Simply delicious & whetted our tastebuds ready for the fresher than fresh salad with the amazing chef's addition of tiny crispy breadcrumbs. My eggplant parm was done perfectly with a bit of crispness evident in the crust, indicating its freshness. Red sauce just spicy enough with a generous dish of grated parm to finish it. My friend's chicken francese was superbly seasoned and cooked to perfection-very tender in its cream sauce. Our vegetable sides were also done beautifully. Sadly the generous portions left us too full to venture into desserts but the cannoli's at the next table looked freshly made. Next time!
