Absolutely delicious! Best service I've had in awhile. Food was fantastic! Couldn't even finish my meal because of all the appetizers, salad and soup! This restaurant does not disappoint. This was my first time here and I have lived in Buffalo and drove past all my life. Don't drive by. GO IN! ❤️

First time visiting The Dove Restaurant, drove past so many times always saying, we have to go there. We waiting at the bar for our table to be ready, which was ok, as it was date night and we go to spend time at the bar talking. Once seated, we were greeted by our server Grace, was very friendly and bubbly. The young man who was also our server immediately brought us our complimentary meatballs and bread. They both were very hot and delicious. We sat and talked after eating and enjoyed the ambiance and the romantic setting. We were able to look at the menu after hearing the specials and decide what we wanted to order. Once we ordered , We received our complimentary pasta fagioli, that was the best ever. We had a nice amount of time in between the soup and then our appetizers were served. More time passed and then we were served our salads, I highly recommend the house creamy parmesan, More time passed and we were served our entrees. We were then offered dessert, that we had to decline as we were full from the multiple courses of food. Our dining experience at The Dove restaurant was exceptional. From the greeting by the owner to the conversation with the server and manager prior to leaving. I only wish we would have visited the establishment prior to now.

Do not sleep on the Dove. It’s the restaurant gem of the Southtowns that you never knew you needed in your life. Dining here is an experience. It’s a treat. Go there, take your time, enjoy your life. Most of our food was good… The soup lacked taste… But the service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress was condescending, inpatient, rude, and unhelpful. She alone will cause us to not go back.We understood why at 7 o’clock on a Friday night there were only a handful of tables full.

Was asked to remove my hat while two other gentlemen that came in after me .we're seated wearing hats and not asked to at all. After telling the waitress I recently had a medical procedure on my head and was uncomfortable taking my hat off. She then proceeded to ask management if it were OK for me to keep it on. Then I've observed how others dining were treated compared to my self. I got a very non welcoming uncomfortable dining experience. I will not be going back

My family loved everything they ordered soup was great salad was perfect My chicken cacciatore was good but also disappointing. To me the chicken should have just fell apart they used a boneless chicken breast that was not simmered for hours in the sauce had to use a knife to cut it

One of the best Italian restaurants in WNY. I could go every day just for their house dressing, I dream about that stuff. We were there last night and they had stuffed zucchini flowers for an app. It blew us away! It reminded me of the Sopranos episode where they are fighting over them at Arty's restaurant. Don't pass up the dinner for 2 for $50. Includes the bread and meatballs when you sit down, salad or soup, shared app, limencello, and a half portion entree. You will still leave with a doggy bag. Try to make room for dessert and end the night with a perfectly made espresso.

First, dinner is a dining experience, so expect flair and multiple courses. We had shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and pork medallions. The food was delicious! I've eaten at plenty of big-city fine restaurants and Dove keeps up. Great staff with wonderful service, especially the bus boy! Meatballs and bread before you order is a unique and delicious touch. Limoncello as a palate cleaner. Seriously. Highly recommend!
My nephew and niece treated us to dinner and drinks and it was fabulous ? We met some new people and we're treated kindly. Have to thank all of the staff who took care of us meticulously. Absolutely special. ?

This is not fast food . First time here . The dining event is much like a dinner in Europe. Several courses. I had a party of 9 and we were well taken care of . They have a great selection.If you are in a hurry , hit a drive thru .

HONEST review: The service is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY slow and not as professional as they should be. I would only ever come back here if we were served by a professional, attentive staff in a timely manner with the courtesy and respect that you'd expect from any service establishment.The food was good, so no complaints there. The bread/breadsticks were very cheap tasting and not great, but other than that the food was good.I would be happy to speak with the owner to further elaborate on my poor experience here on Saturday evening 1/27/2024.
