Atmosphere was nice. Food, service and warm water in plastic cups left much to be desired. Waitress never refilled water or checked on the table.

Julia was fantastic behind the bar. This is a first responders bar. You can buy drinks and meals for them, you "hang" the ticket on the board, and a first responder can get a free meal or drink when they come in. Great idea

We were visiting the area and chose First Line Brewing because of its proximity to an event we attended Highmark Stadium. We're so glad we did! We walked in and told the hostess we had a party of 9. She happily rearranged tables to accommodate us. They have a wide selection of craft beer on tap. Something for everyone. They also have a great craft cocktail menu, including an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan that were smoked tableside-- fun and delicious! The food was also very good. After being asked if we wanted the wings saucy or crispy, my son commented "That's how you know they're serious about the wings." He was right. To add to the relaxed atmosphere, there was live music. The solo performer was as interactive as he was talented. His set list was perfect for the setting. The thing that will stick with me the most is the way our waitress went out of her way to engage the 10 year old in our party. For some reason, he wasn't interested in food or drink. She brought him a special drink and told him the bartender had made it just for him. It was even named after him. That was SO above and beyond! We only wish we lived in town so we could visit on a regular basis.

The beer was good, the food was excellent! Based on everyone else there when I was, presumably mostly locals, there were a lot of orders of wings. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was still fantastic. What prevents me from giving a higher review is the service. It took 15 minutes of the waitress not coming to the table before I just went to the bar. Then at the bar, the gentleman next to me received his order at the same time I did, even though I ordered 20 minutes before him. I’m just in town for work, but I don’t plan on coming back.

First time visit and was very impressed. Love the patriotic atmosphere. Had an exceptional smoked old fashioned and was given the inside scoop on the beers along with great recommendations. I love that you can pay it forward and buy a drink for a front line worker. Will definitely be returning!!

I came to meet up with some friends for Taco Tuesday specials. It was my first time here. Nice place with a theme that honors all first responders. First line is a brewery, whisky bar and restaurant with bar food options.Taco Tuesday had $5 margaritas and order of 3 carnitas or beef tacos for $13. I tried a lime margarita and carnitas. The tacos are sold on a flour tortilla but I was told they sometimes have corn shells. They were fresh out yesterday but the server was able to make me a plate of nachos instead. I appreciated the help and menu substitution. The carnitas was delicious and the portion was generous and plenty for a hungry person. The margarita was perfect, and strong.Service was very good! This place also has garage doors which open up to make this more of an indoor patio for nice weather. Some outside seating as well.

The service was exceptional. We were greeted right away as we entered. Our waitress was very attentive even though almost every table was taken. Our meals were picture perfect and delicious.Job well done to the young men that own this business. You should be proud of yourselves.

Nice place with a good atmosphere. The WNY beer trail pass is what brought us here. We had just finished eating elsewhere and were looking for somewhere to watch the last half of the Bill's game. There were only a handful of other people here, but the game was on several TVs, and we enjoyed a nice variety of brews. Would come again! Oh yeah, nice discounts for first responders, but volunteer firefighters are not included!

This was the first time I had been there, and I'll definitely come back to sit at the bar!Came in Saturday evening and was greeted almost right away by the bartender that was on, we originally chose to sit at a table and after not being greeted at the table for abiut 5 minutes or having seen a server at either of the other 2 tables we decided to move over to seats at the bar... We were glad we did. Roman was awesome! Very personable and knowledgeable about any questions we had! My girlfriend and I split an order of tater kegs that we thought were great and ordered the First Line burger to split as well, which was pretty good itself. Roman quickly offered to have the burger cut in half for us, realizing we only ordered one burger and an app. Little things like that go a long way, in my opinion. He will be really successful in the bartending/service industry if he continues working in it.
