Fine dining?!? Please take that out of your name. This place is not only old inside but understaffed. I could NOT believe the prices on the menu after I sat down!! I thought I was on Candid Camera!!! $30 for pasta ? $50 for filet? Joke. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the food will be upscale and blow me away? NOT again. Subpar food, mediocre portions. I'm sorry this place is living in a dream world. Go somewhere else!!

Service and menu are excellent! Been a mainstay in the Southtowns for many years, and for good reason. Be sure to try the French onion soup!!

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here, but definitely come in for Tuesday Prime Rib. I recommend getting it prepared Chefs Favorite - delicious! The waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and very attentive. Always a pleasant experience every time I've been to The Mansard and will be back for more.

Phenomenal food. I have never had anything less than a great meal here. Whoever is the head chef there, they need to do everything they can to keep him around! Incredible staff, very friendly & personable.. just wonderful people. They really make you feel welcome and like you're part of the family that owns it. You'll catch a glimpse of some of their kids every now and then.. it's very endearing. Feels like home. They've recently added a huge deck for outdoor dining during the spring - fall seasons and even have live music over the summer. Different specials, seasonal foods.. I could go and on about this place. It's one of the best there is. Seeing a couple of negative reviews makes me wonder if we're even talking about the same place.

Dinner Club February! The Mansard Fine Drink & Eatery for prime rib Tuesday. We had a mostly good experience. Sat down to the most uncomfortable booth ever. Did some seat switching after we sat down but I wouldn't wish those booths on anyone. We all kept kicking each other under the table the entire meal and I couldn't even cross my legs they were so small. Had the calamari for an app and it was delicious! Saucy sweet thai chili with carrots and it was a big portion! We also had rolls and butter come to the table. It was totally unexpected they we're deliciously warm with warm butter as well! We all had prime rib, first person ordered, then I person ordered and asked what sides it comes with. Waitress said it comes with green beans, and mashed potatoes(in added gravy) and she said we also get soup or salad. She listed off the options and I said I wanted french onion soup, then she took order of first persons soup/salad then got the other 2 orders. Fast forward to when the bill comes we were charged for 3 out of 4 soup/salads. Big disappointment when she said we got soup/salad and she listed them off with no mention of upcharge. We even said to her for future reference to let people know when ordering there was a charge but she didn't seem to care, or apologize or anything. She said it was under the entrees section of the main menu but we ordered off the daily special menu(picture below) with with no mention of upcharge on that menu. Anyways.... The prime rib was delicious! We had both options at the table the sous vide and the charbroiled. Both were incredibly tender and prepared perfectly with a side of au jus. The green beans were yummy and the mashed potatoes were fluffy and the gravy was absolutely amazing! Got the sponge candy cheese cake for dessert and unfortunately it left alot to he desired..we didn't even finish it. The only sponge candy was lightly sprinkled on top and the cheesecake center was more like a mousse filling. Overall I would go back if there were other table options. They do have a phenomenal beef on weck on Wednesdays.

My wife decided to take myself and her parents to the Mansard for my birthday dinner last nite. My elderly in laws had a difficult time with no ADA access available. Many stairs necessary for entry. When we got in the tried to seat us in their smallest booth. It was ridiculously small. Upon some difficult decisions by the hostess she finally caved and seated us a table although they primarily have booths. Waitress came promptly and took drink orders. The memory I had of the Mansard included chicken almondine a signature item as stated on their menu. They were out of it. Not available on a Sat nite at 6pm! Skipped an entree and powered soup and salad. There were also two other items they were out of on the menu. Ordered meal at 6:30pm. After several visits from waitress, some with excuses for delays, we were served our meals at 8:10pm. Food was good and the waitress, upon another visit stated that the place was overwhelmed by a party of 20 upstairs. Unacceptable to treat your a few of your customers in this matter if you cannot handle your commitments. When it came to dessert they had no provision for any type of birthday wish. Ok, I get it. Not their problem but unusual for a restaurant in such a competitive market as these times offer. Lastly, dessert. Guess what. They were out of two of the seven offerings. Got the bill and left,...very disappointed an anxious to let other prospective customers of our visit and displeasure. Two out of our party did not order entrees,..bill was $171 plus tax. Terrible presentation. Have not been the for several years and nothing has changed. Not even handicap access to keep up with New York laws. Be forewarned!Wheelchair accessibility: There is NO wheelchair access,..just many stairs. Also no ADA compliance in rest room areas.

Dirty, and old & dingy. Food not great. Salad was supposed to have a grill on top. Wasn't grilled. Salad parts belong in a rabbit cage

We had a terrific party at The Mansard. I had to leave a review because the food was outstanding and Becky went out of her way to provide great service, even helping to contain the party's young kids.
