If I can leave zero stars for the room I will. I check out tomorrow and I cant wait to get home. The shower had 1 door so I had to choose between getting water on the floor or cold air blowing on me while showering. The remote was broke, the phone in the room was broke and when I told the front desk they just said aww I’m sorry but nothing was done to accommodate me and my family. When I asked for new towels, they never came. The water park was the best part of the stay. Next time I want to go to the water park, I will stay at a different hotel. I will never stay here again. I attached pictures to show the broken remote and the one shower door.

I was super impressed with the 1 night stay and play package. However the room we were given was absolutely disgusting. When I walked barefoot to the window I stepped on staples sticking out from the carpet. The “dust ruffle” on the bottom of the bed had what looked to be vomit. (See pictures) because I was alone and my toddler had fallen asleep I had asked the cleaning lady if she could change it and she told me I could take it off and put it in the corner. Again my toddler was sleeping and this was a king size bed. I couldn’t get it off. When I tried to call the front desk a million times from the room phone and my cell phone no one answered. If I could give less stars I would. When I addressed it in the morning I was offered 20% off. Never again!

Manager was super rude and unprofessional. She told me they could extend my stay and match the price which was nice- but then told me she didn’t she didn’t have to do that and I should be grateful that she’s offered it. She refused to give me the general managers name or hers. This was because my husband flight got delayed and we needed to change travel plans. He’s returning from a military leave and I finally get to see Him for one night after 7 months and I didn’t check in the day I signed up to. I tried calling them and got no answer. Priceline got no answer as well in advance.

It was super packedI think the volume of people in comparison to the size of the place was a little unbalancedI can imagine going back on a weekday would be much betterThe hotel rooms were bland and boringThere were no bottles of waterWe couldn't hook up our Roku so our kids couldn't watch movies at nightWe didn't even want to stay the nightThe lobby was beautiful and the restaurants seem niceRooms: The rooms were basic, nothing specialIt being a place for families and children I would expect a little bit moreNearby activities: There were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and walking distance. Also, being right on the water was beautiful

Very nice and caring workers. When you need more towels, shampoo or anything, they have it right there for you and they do not hesitate to give it to you. They answered all my questions that I have had so far so nice and politely, and they are straightforward with there answer. The most cleanest well maintenance unlike other hotels I have been at.

We've stayed at this hotel time and time again, given it's proximity to family and Downtown. The staff are friendly, the amenities are great and location can't be beat. The hotel also has a full bar, restaurant and water park on site. The rooms are dated. The decor is dated. However, I found the room to be clean.

THEY STOLE MY $292 for a hot tub suite then even with confirmation numbers proof money was taking the drunk at the bar with a sliver box decided to laugh at me and called the cops even tho we had reservations as well as proof!!! DO NOTTTT STAY THERE THEY BOOK AND STEAL YOUR MONEY ASK THE BAR LADY!!! Manager promised us a room after seeing the proof but front lady cried without attitude or any rudeness at all but didn't care to help my single mom who got out once in 6 years and was left sitting in the car!! DO NOTTTTTTTTTTTT SUMMIT YOUR MONEY TO THEM THE DRUNK AT THE BAR PLUS LADIES AT DESK BESIDES ABBY WILL STEAL IT AND NO ROOM!!!

Location wise, great central to Oswego. The hotel for the most part is clean. There is free breakfast included with your stay. I find it annoying that on certain booking sites, there is a picture of a pool and the gym. Only to find out that they have no pool or gym but you need to walk across to the Best Western for a workout. Apparently they have a "water park" connected to the hotel which is mostly for kids. There is a restaurant in house which unfortunately from other Yelpers has poor reviews. I wish Oswego had more modern hotels and amenities, maybe in due time. I wanted to give the hotel 3 stars but the staff was very exceptional and professional. Parking is free, wifi is hit or miss. The staff, receptionist have always been welcoming, polite and empathetic.

This hotel was pretty nice. It’s in a very cute area right by the river. I really appreciated the easy access to stairs. Just could have been a little bit cleaner.Walkability: Oswego is so cute and it was easy to explore on foot from this hotel.Food & drinks: There’s a nice indoor bar.

Room was decent. Minor issues within room not major enough to bring to hotels attention. Great view!Food & drinks: Hotel food and bar was good. Many options in the area.

Phone did not work in my room. Front desk said they would send maintenance but no one ever came. The hallways stink, no remote in room and ripped carpet. For a $265 stay per night. I was severely disappointed.

It is a simple but nice hotel. The room was clean. The bathroom was in good condition, clean and pretty. It is comfortable. The hotel has a very fun indoor pool, has an arcade and restaurants. Behind the hotel you can see the lake. Parking is free.

The Clarion is in a great location within easy reach to pretty much anywhere you'd like to go in Oswego, including the trail along the river if you are a walker. There was a great Turkish bakery across the way, as well as a day spa where I got a lovely pedicure. It looked like there was an eatery in this area as well. There is plenty of parking in the front and in the back. The front desk staff are very professional. Our encounters with our housekeeper on 7/27 were quite pleasant and she was very helpful and kind when we spilled a coffee by the ice machine by our room. There was a coffee machine on the first level and it had decent coffee. I did not care for the coffee served at breakfast (weak). I did not like the eggs either (scrambled mush I call it), but the bacon was delicious and my husband said the sausage was very good. They had waffles that you make yourself, as well as delicious looking biscuits and English muffins. My favorite was the chobani yogurt and the fruit. They had macerated strawberries as well as canned peach slices. They also had fresh apples and oranges. The reason I took a star away was because there was no hot water in our bathroom sink and the shower drain was extremely slow, which makes for a gross experience when you have a lot of dirt and soap together, which was the case. (My husband is a metal detectorist and tends to attract a lot of dirt.) I would have chalked that up to just an inconsequential issue that just happens, however I believe I saw a number of other reviews for this motel that had the same complaint. This tells me that they are aware of it but it is not getting fixed.Otherwise, the room was perfectly adequate and we had a nice river view that we enjoyed quite a bit. If the price was the same, I think next time I would try the Best Western Plus next door since they have balconies overlooking the river. All in all, this was a good place and I would recommend it.Walkability: Walkable to the riverfront, the Farmers Market and eateries.
