Ordered a personal chicken bacon ranch pie from Umbertos. Total came to $16 with no drinks or sides. A little steep in my opinion if they want to stay competitive in this market.
The personal pie was of good portion, if not larger than other establishments. They slice it in large quarters.
The best part of this pizza was the crust by far; I’m assuming they use some sort of pan because it was super crispy & delicious !!
However, the pizza itself did taste a bit bland. It lacked salt and that robust flavor you would expect from anything ranch. Adding salt & red pepper (myself) did bring it up to par.
Overall I’d give this place a 4/5. Crust & dough were great but they can certainly improve in the “seasoning department.” Heavier in flavor can be better than lacking in flavor , disregarding anchovies (haha).
I’ll buy from here again if they improve getting to/surpassing Mario’s level. Thanks !

I only gave the service of four because they stopped delivering to my area! They have such great vegan options and they have this vegan grandma pie that I served to all my guests last summer even though I’m the only vegan everyone loved it and today was the third time somebody asked if we were gonna be ordering “that pizza that we got last year” again. I have absolutely hated not being able to get food from here this year, I had to be their biggest vegan pizza customer lol! But if you’re looking for vegan options I would definitely recommend it, I just hope one day they expand their delivery area out to me again!

Ordered a meatball hero on uber eats, The bread is like rubber, no sauce on the meatballs and all my extra cheese I paid for was all over the foil and not in my sandwich like really??? Horrible and inedible I was trying to support small local business but this is the Last time I order from them.. Do better Umberto’s!!

Best pizza in the area, the grandma pies are excellent
Simply put........best grandmas pizza on long island. I live a few towns over, but never stopped in this umbertos in my life ... Its a small pizzeria, but maybe that is why the pizza is outstanding. Sat at table outside..... Quality ingredients, best crust, sauce, etc . this will be my new pizza- go- to- place. Try one slice, and you will be hooked.

Ordered 2 regular pizzas to go. They were huge - seemed even bigger than stated 18”. Unfortunately, although we pickup up in exactly 25 min as instructed, and started eating 10 min after that, the pizzas were already luke warm and seemed a bit stale. We wonder if toppings were added and pre made pizzas reheated? I ordered black olives for 5.25 and got calamatas instead. Huge taste difference. Disappointed for $68 for two pizzas Not recommended, sadly
