Even though the restaurant was kind of empty when we got there at about 145. The waitress was really great and the food was absolutely delicious. My wife got the brisket platter. collard greens and cornbread.. For 17.95 I got the bargain Lunch. It was two whole hicken wings. three saint louis ribs , one pulled pork slider A very generous portion of sweet potato fries and corn bread. We had to take half of it home. Even though it's an hour from our home in Long Beach. we will return.

Pulled pork was good. Tender and moist but a bit bland. The sides and appetizers were not good at all Sweet potato fries neatrly as limp as spaghetti, Mac and Cheese with bacon had a grainy texture (powdered cheese maybe?) and potato salad was funky tasting (not in a good way). At the least the bar drinks were decent.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so yesterday we finally did, and we can’t wait to go back. The pulled pork was so tasty, and so was the burger one of my sons ordered. The onion rings, pulled chicken, shrimp and appetizers were perfect too. The service was spectacular.
