Not worth one penny we spent. Manager had a bad attitude. Won’t be back.

For my first time, it was delicious. A bit small but worth it. I'll be definitely going back again!

The restaurant was nice as far as the design. Unfortunately, my meal was one of the worst meals I’ve eaten all year .
I ordered the shrimp and grits. To describe it in one word: NASTY.
My experience was for breakfast. No one was in the restaurant. The food came out incredibly fast. The grits were over cooked and watery. The vomit style sauce was so salty, it burned my gums. The sauce was a liquid cheese with salt and oil.
So nasty.
Nothing about that dish showed that the person who made it cared about food.
Of course I didn’t eat it. But the entire day it repeated itself in my mouth.
I was so excited to return with my family before I ate that dish

I was really looking forward to trying Buttermilk’s, but my experience was beyond disappointing. I found two small white hairs in my food, which was already unsettling, but things got worse—two of my friends got sick after eating the Eggs Benedict. They even mentioned it had a strange chemical taste, and when we brought it up to the waitress, she said that was normal. Clearly, something is off with their kitchen hygiene. The service was decent, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness and food safety. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Nothing special about this place other than it's convenient to have in the neighborhood. The service wasn't bad, but they certainly didn't take any extra steps to, equally, check in with everyone in the party that all was good... They seemed very selective in that regard...hmmm.... Food is so-so, nothing "wow." Not much to say... Nothing remarkable whatsoever.

I order from Buttermilks probably 1x per month. Raved about the food to friends of mine. Well, we ordered by phone last Thurs and went to pick up. The next time I will definately check all food boxes before I leave the store. 2 piece dark meal usually has 1) leg 1) thigh 1) wing. Received 3 legs in the box.
the cole slaw was like soup it was so watery I could not eat it and who puts a sliced pickle on top of the cole slaw? That was a first for me and I always get the cole slaw.
Yes, the chicken was as good as always, but was dissapointed that what was advertised as a 2 piece dark meat meal was not what was received. And this is the same meal I always order.
Just a heads up to check your boxes before you walk out of the store.
I think the young man taking orders was off his game that day, because I had to repeat the order to him a few times over the phone and then he had a difficult time repeating it back to me.
I will of course go back, because the chicken is always very good but will not leave until I to make sure what I ordered is what I receive.

I visited Buttermilk's Kitchen in Patchogue for the first time. My gluten-free pancakes were burnt. When I showed the waiter, he agreed that they were burnt. The manager never came to the table and they offered no compensation. I will not return.

Went down 1 star because of last breakfast. Bad choice on my part. Should have stuck with usual. Alittle disappointed. Was a little greasy. You can see in the photo. Still will go back though. Great service and coffee.

Awful customer service! Waited 45 minutes for my food after the rest of my table was served (and they waited 30 minutes). Was told they made the wrong food 3 times before getting mine correct! And was told that the owner was the chef! When they finally brought my food everyone else was ready to leave. They had the audacity to charge me! And was told rudely by the manager, "Well at least you got your food lady." NEVER AGAIN! They have no idea how to treat customers with respect. Any other restaurant would have taken the amount off as a sign of good faith. And BTW the service is SLOW!!!! So many breakfast/lunch places to eat. Do yourself a favor.....AVOID THIS ONE. JUST AWFUL AND NOT WORTH THE WAIT.
