Chops is such a cozy yet refined steak house and every experience I have there is outstanding. I say experience because while the food is delicious, creative, consistent and amazing, the restaurant goes above and beyond making guests feel like every interaction is special. From the moment you walk in and are escorted to your personally reserved table, the staff waits on you hand and foot to ensure your experience is flawless. It is an ideal spot for a celebratory occasion but also, if you are just looking for an amazing dinner and don't mind being treated like royalty, then this is the place!
Went during restaurant week so the value was great, but regular menu is expensive. Note that you cannot do two promos at once (couldn't get $12 martinis on Martini Monday AND a prix fixe menu), and happy hour is only available at the bar. Do not recommend the italian cheesecake, it was ver grainy. Pork chop entree and lamp chop starter were delicious. We enjoyed our bourbon martinis and the tiramisu as well. Service was very attentive at the start and then once the place filled up we had to flag over the server when needed. Cute place, lovely decor.
Our favorite restaurant for special occasions. Nice ambiance, great steaks, a solid wine list and exemplary service add up to a wonderful dining experience.
Adrian the server was fantastic! After a little mishap with a table that was uncomfortable; Mark the manager went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable and seated in a perfect location. It was a great night and I was not disappointed as a first timer ❤️
We had a great time ! The ambiance, food and service was great considering it was restaurant week. They were running behind with reservations and gave my partner and I a glass of champagne while we waited. Truly appreciate the gesture.
First time at Chops, but definitely not the last. Food was great. I especially love that they had their regular menu available for resturant week. I was able to order something in addition that I wanted which was nice. My friends and I will be back.
Food was excellent. Had the lamb chops for appetizers and they melted in your mouth. Had the 8oz Filet and was also delicious. Beautiful restaurant. Will definitely be back!
There steaks are not dry aged as they claim to be ..can taste and see the difference as soon as my srip steak was served ..very chewy..told the manager was willing to take it off my bill ..be great if they gave me what I was expecting for $74 can go else where and get real dry age and taste the difference..nut on a good note sides were very good and drinks were great as well ..I won't say I won't be back .. hopefully they will come to there senses..

We went to Chops to celebrate our anniversary, as we have in the past. They go above to make your special event even more special with touches like a Happy Anniversary note and complimentary champagne when we arrived. The food and service was top notch. We love going to Chops for these reasons.
Food was AMAZING!! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Chops was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was very relaxing, my husband and I loved how it was not overly packed. The service was phenomenal. Quality of the food was top notch! All the staff here was very welcoming. Prices are kinda high but I would come back for another special occasion!
Chops has a dark, somewhat odd Prohibition-era theme that doesn’t fully match the surrounding Patchogue vibe. The food was average at best and definitely not worth the hefty price tag, and the drinks were overpriced as well. They also strictly enforce a dress code, which feels out of place considering it’s located on a strip full of dive bars and fun, casual spots.
Overall, the place feels more like a gimmick than a restaurant focused on delivering genuinely great food. It’s an interesting experience, but not one I’d go out of my way for again.

My husband and I dined at Chops a few weeks ago and had a near perfect experience. Our waiter was friendly, charismatic and professional. The cocktails were delectable, the three courses were well-timed and delicious, and our porterhouse was perfectly cooked to medium rare and served on a hot plate. Last night, we brought some friends and our experience was not the same. The cocktails were good, but not delicious. Our steaks were overcooked and served on cold plates. Even the wedge salad was watery. We didn't complain but we all agreed that it wasn't what we expected. When the meal is superb, you don't mind paying the high steakhouse price. But when it is sub par, it's painful. Hopefully, it was just an off night for the kitchen.
Chops were excellent, Old Fashioned was perfect...and the vegetables (carrots and brocoli) were amazing...
