Great place for breakfast and lunch. There's usually no wait if you go during the week, can be a wait on the weekends especially on Sunday. The food here is really good, and would definitely recommend. The place can be difficult to see from the street as it's angled inward not facing the street, service can be slow at times even during the week and whole lot slower on the weekend.

Servers were nice smiling n attentive. Chicken Fried Steak n Eggs simply super, loved it. Only sour note was girls at register need more training. Waited ten minutes to pay bill while they talked with two young girls paying bill. They were unattended to people waiting to pay bill n people waiting to be seated. I witnessed three people question them n walk out. Not what I think u want, people walking out. Hire someone responsible, blond girl just walked away to back of restaurant. Sal Anzalone.

Food wasn't bad, but the too cool waiter felt no need to do his job because our party had over the minimum to get the automatically added on gratuity. So the ok good and the horrible service was overpriced

First off, let me say that my, my wife, our kids and the rest of my family have been coming here for years and it has often been a go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I met my colleague there for a business breakfast on Sunday 12/8/19 at 9am. Both he and I wanted to grab a quick meal as we had other important things to do that day. We got there and were seated pretty promptly, so that was good, as my friend had never been there before and I suggested the place. Then we both sat and we waited.. and waited... and waited. The place was filled with smoke, which is unusual for that place. The table behind us (who came much after us) got seated, ordered, got drinks and their breakfast was out and no one came to our table yet. It was not that busy. We asked the waitress that helped out the table right behind us if someone could take our order.. but no one did and god forbid she get us a cup of coffee or something or even apologize. We were there for about 25 minutes before leaving... and no one came to our table... at all!!! Staff was walking all around looking around wandering aimlessly, yet I guess no one was assigned to our table, although we did made mention of it to them. When the noticed us leaving, they did not apologize, they just took our menus and reset the table. It is after we left and went to George's luncheonette down the road (less expensive, much better service) that we got to thinking that maybe they thought we were a gay couple or something. I don't know what their issue is over there but I will not being doing business in that establishment ever again. I later phone called the manager, and he was unapologetic, just stated he would speak to his staff. Good problem solver (sarcasm). Needs new management!!! At least there are a ton of other places to eat in Patchogue... do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
If your out on the east end of the island and want a little something to eat,Patchogue is the place to go.The Country Kitchen located 240 East Main St. has a great variety of food to choose from.I had the Reuben skillet.It was out of this world good! Excellent food,nice waitress,clean,and lots of parking in the rear of the location.I highly recommend this resturant.You won't be disappointed if you go there.Try it out and enjoy!
