The problem with many of the wood oven pizza selections is that the sauce is very wet and the dough in the center of the pie gets totally wet and soggy.

Donatina makes pizza that are classic updated. I typically go there for their Detroit Style Pizzas. They have a gas fired for your old school slices and a wood fired for your more pillowy pies like a traditional neopoltan airy crust pies. Best pizza! I'm GF and highly allergic to wheat so as you can imagine, eating pizza out is not easy. I have tried other places but the cross contamination has always got me sick. This is the FIRST & ONLY place that I am able to eat a GF pizza without getting sick. SO thankful for this place. If you are GF, try this with pizza with peace of mind. You will be glad you did...their cheese crust and fluffy "dough" are amazing- not to mention the amount of choices for toppings and customizations. Their online ordering is a picky eaters dream!

One of my favorite pizza places in patchogue, the pizza by the slice is good, and they have a nice variety. They also have neapolitan pies, which are very good as well! Depends on the counter person you get , they're not mean but also not very friendly.

Foods good. But i was waiting on line to the side by the pizza, i was next and the guy served a girl when she just walked up which pissed me off and i walked out. For that im never going back there again.
