It felt so good at the restaurant the ambience was beautiful. My Waiter Aiden P. was absolutely amazing and was so knowledgeable of the menu and even recommended a meal for me and my husband and we went with it and it was delicious. He also accommodated my Son with a off kids menu and gave my son exactly what he wanted. My son told me the food was delicious. When I come back I want Aiden table always because he made us feel like we was at home being serve for a private dinner. Kudos đđŸ to Aiden P.
Not family friendly, over priced for mediocre food. Left feeling very disappointed!
ALL the staff were so kind & friendly. From the hostess, to bus boys, and our waiter was top notch. Food was excellent. Prices were fair. 1st time trying it & will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!
Had a wonderful evening for a birthday celebration last night. The server and staff were amazingly.
It was such an amazing experience! The staff were awesome, the food was amazing! We also took some beautiful pictures while we were there, it was very homey and classy. I love it, I can't wait to come again!
The food was incredible and the wait staff were very attentive. Our reservation was for 6:45 and around 8:30 after we paid the check we were asked if they could buy us a round of drinks at the bar for the table. I appreciated the gesture very much but felt that a 2 hour reservation would have been fair. Also they brought out a sparkler for my husbands birthday was no smell dessert which I thought was weird. But they were busy and I guess they needed the table. Overall the experience was great and Iâll be back.
Wanted to give it a try. Service was good, but the water had many tables, and since we were a small party of four - the overall dinner lasted three hours. Once the food was ordered, it came out pretty quickly. Foos was excellent. The only true downside to the experience was theïżŒ acoustic - on the restaurant side it was pretty intense. But interestingly enough if you went to the bar side, it was appropriate.
Wonderful experience and food with a fun atmosphere. Service was excellent. Looking forward to our next dinner there.
Food was good, and nice large portions for your money. Our waiter was excellent. Drinks took a while to come out .
After seeing this restaurant all over TikTok, we decided to give it a try. We called ahead, made reservations, and drove 30 minutes with high expectations. When we arrived, the atmosphere was undeniably cute and inviting, which initially made the trip feel worthwhile.
We told our waiter that we had seen a specific dish on TikTok and described it to himâthe Sals fried chicken bowl. He immediately knew what we were referring to, so we confidently placed our order.
For our appetizer, we ordered the baked clams. Unfortunately, they were extremely disappointing. They were completely tasteless, with what seemed like plain breadcrumbs thrown on top. The texture was grittyâalmost like sandâand there was absolutely no flavor. I couldnât even taste the clams themselves.
After that, our entrĂ©es took over 30 minutes to arrive, only for them to be incorrect. When we flagged down the waiter, he said, âOh, you wanted it that way.â I clarified that yes, we didâexactly as we had explained earlier and as he had acknowledged. He was apologetic and took the dish back.
About 15 minutes later, the dish returned. It was the same pasta, clearly just modified with the add-on we originally requested. By then, it was ice cold. Even worse, the flavor was completely bland. At that point, we accepted that we simply did not enjoy the dish.
When the bill arrived, the pricing was shocking. Each pasta was $33. Adding chicken was an additional $20, and adding mozzarella was another $6âbringing each bowl of pasta to $49. While the portion size was large, it didnât justify the price given that the food was cold, flavorless, and poorly executed.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience that did not live up to the hype. A viral TikTok appearance can spark interest, but flavor, execution, and value are what truly matterâand unfortunately, this place missed the mark.
Restaurantji Recommends
Every course we had was spot-on, from the fresh start to the satisfying finish, and the portions were generous. If you're looking for a meal that delivers variety, quality, and true value, Nonna's Prix-Fixe is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend ITAâPatchogue is lucky to have them.
Excellent Experience. Food was awesome! Service was outstanding. Great Vibe and affordable too! Will 10000% be going back!
There were six of us last Thursday evening. Great food and service. We keep coming back! Thank you!
Great food great service but we were sat at the front of the restaurant next to the windows, which is normally awesome, but in the winter time they need to stop the draft from coming through the front garage door type windows. There is a small gap at the bottom of them that lets freezing air inside and we were freezing the whole time.
Disappointing Experience We were really looking forward to trying ITA, but the food didn't meet our expectations. The chicken tasted like it came from a frozen Costco bag, the fried mozzarella was soggy, and even the bread was hard. Overall, the meal fell far below what we expected. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.
