The verdict: very good. Went to Jardin for dinner earlier. I had the Island Curry with shrimp. The shrimp and rice were perfectly cooked, and flavor was spot on. A gluten free cookie and carrot cake are also pictured and both were excellent.
Service was attentive without being overbearing.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The drinks were exceptional — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real thought and quality into every cocktail.
The food was just as impressive. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with authentic South American flavors. You can truly taste the love in their cooking.
On top of that, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.
Highly recommend this place if you want great food, great drinks, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We were very disappointed with the service at Jardins Café in Patchogue. Our poor experience began with cold coffee, and it took the waiter three attempts to finally bring us a hot cup. This ordeal alone took nearly an hour, and during that time we weren’t even able to place our lunch order. When lunch finally arrived, it was cold as well and took an unusually long time to be served—despite the restaurant not being busy. None of us received hot food.
My husband was already frustrated by the coffee situation, and then his lunch arrived cold. He requested to speak with the manager, and after voicing his complaint, he chose not to eat at all because of the poor service. He simply sat there while the rest of us ate. To make matters worse, the manager struggled to communicate clearly in English and showed no professionalism.
There were six of us, and despite the terrible service, we were forced to pay a 20% tip. It was a horrible experience overall. I have never encountered service like this in all my years of dining out.

My family and I went to Jardin Cafe hoping to have a nice lunch. It was the worst service we have ever had in any restaurant in Long Island. We started with coffee. The coffee was cold. My husband requested hot coffee the waiter brought three cups of cold coffee and finally he got the coffee hot. That took an hour, of our time, the waiter didnt even take our order due to going back an forth getting the coffee. My daughters' tea was also cold. Then the service was very slow and not that many people in the restaurant, our food came out cold and the steak was horrible to eat cold. My husband refused to eat cold food he requested for the manager and complained and told him to take the food back. The manager didnt even apologize and he couldn't even speak English well as a professional. Very disappointed with the service, food, cold coffee and they demanded a 20%tip. I have been to many restaurants in my old age, I have never experienced nothing like this. Do not waste your money.

The atmosphere here is really nice—beautiful décor, plenty of seating, and lots of space at the bar. The menu offers a good selection of appetizers and main dishes. I ordered the bistec frita, and while it was seasoned very well, I was a bit disappointed that it was served cold. The drinks were nicely presented and tasted good, but they weren’t very strong, more like a mocktail. Overall, it’s a lovely place with potential, but a few details could be improved

So my wife & I had dinner last nite at Jardin , 2nd time we’ve been here , we absolutely love it , food was great , service was great, , thought the prices for what we had were reasonable , I only knocked off 1 star for atmosphere because of the Music,my wife and I thought it should have been more age appropriate for the crowd that was there . Otherwise everything was great and we ll definitely be back soon .
Excellent! This trendy place has everything I could ask for. Fast friendly service, high quality excellent tasting food. My wife and I ordered a main dish, with desserts and they were, in my opinion 5-stars. We even said to each other, this place could be a high end Manhattan restaurant without the fluff atmosphere. It's casual dress, so you can relax and still eat well. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time considering it was a Saturday night, I think we waited 15 or 20 minutes. I was so impressed, I took my son back there the next day.

Lots of vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. Food was fresh, healthy and clean. Also many gluten free options. My bowl came with grilled pineapple, mango, quinoa, avocado, tomatoes and greens. Add tofu, fish or for the meat eaters in your group there were plenty of protein options too.
