An absolute hidden gem in Patchogue village for comida authentica Mexicana! We visited for lunch around the holidays for a quick bite. We got sangria and a michelada as drinks to start. The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.

This place is a hidden gem, the location is perfect as it is off the main road. Upon entry we were greeted right away and our waitress was extremely attentive during the entire night. My mom and I got yummy sangria to start with fresh and warm nachos. We enjoyed an amazing ceviche for starter and then our main dishes were exceptional! I ordered a steak burrito with extra jalapeños and my mom ordered shrimp fajitas and we couldn’t help ourselves so we also each ordered dessert, flan and tres leche cake! It was amazing and filled the void as we needed a night out to deal with some family challenges. This place made my heart happy. Lindo Mexico!

So after a night on the town my girlfriend and I went into this restaurant the lady took our order and made us pay immediately. I normally pay after my mail but thought nothing of it didn't get a check just a verbal never got my change I paid with $100 bill when we go to leave the lady tells me that we didn't pay for one of our beverages my bill came out to $81 and I gave her $100 so I told her to take the fee out of the change she said she had given me two tens I had no money left on me at this point in the night it was my last hundred dollar bill I think this is a scam that they try to do with people who they think are drunk and tried to get them to pay multiple times for the same meal not giving people their change back is rude and Theft and then to accuse them of thievery is the ultimate shame on them taking advantage of your customers because you think they've been drinking shouldn't be the way you make your money shame on you

So I came back to add more to my review..Lindo Mexico restaurant had a very good vegetarian option. Vegetarian corn and jalapeño Tamales, and their Vegetarian burrito.Mixing bites of tamales with forked bites of burrito was very delicious.The table green sauce (not spicy) was very good, and I used 1/2 a bottle on my meal. I also used a lesser amount of the table red hot sauce, also better than usually found in a restaurant.The Tamarind soda was a welcome new flavor experience for me.The chef is introducing new items, so in addition to favorites, you will have new flavors to enjoy.The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful.Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito, green sauce, chocolate covered ice cream with raspberry and almonds. Corn tamales with jalapeño.
