Maybe the kitchen changed, or maybe they're cutting corners-but whatever the reason, the food no longer honors the richness of Peruvian cuisine. It hurts to say it, the food it is not the same. The service was very friendly , sadly that alone it is not enough

This is a shining star in Patchogue. It’s Peruvian - but….. Better Fried Rice than any Chinese Restaurant around!! (Chinese immigrants in the 19th century made their culinary mark on Peru and it’s a fundamental part of the cuisine). Don’t be scared if you aren’t Latino - the food here is highly accessible and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We started with the Avocado Salad - the dressing is homemade and unique. It’s absolutely delicious. Savory and well seasoned - not spicy. I would come here just to take the dressing to use at home! The Causa Rellena - a form of potato salad - is also fantastic. I’ve already highlighted the Fried Rice. This is where I’ll come for that going forward - China has been outdone!! The restaurant is bright, super clean, and you can tell they take pride in the experience they provide. The staff are great - we loved It here. Definitely recommend - if you are feeling adventurous - I guarantee this will become a staple on your go-to restaurant list! Buen Provecho.

As an authentic food critic, I have to say—this Peruvian gem is a solid 5 stars! Los Andes Restaurant in Patchogue delivers an incredible dining experience, and their Combo Especial is a must-try.

This special combo includes:
✅ A whole Peruvian-style roasted chicken
✅ Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice with chicken or pork)
✅ Crispy papas fritas (French fries)
✅ Salchipapas (sliced hot dogs with fries)
✅ 2 cups of chicha morada (refreshing purple corn drink)
✅ Inca Kola to complete the experience

What really stands out? Their signature green spicy sauce—thick, flavorful, and packed with quality from the first dip to the last bite. The hospitality is warm, and I love how they revamped the interior with an inviting teal color scheme—a fresh new look for this already amazing spot🔥🔥🔥💎.

Los Andes is the perfect place for a great meal, whether you're with friends, family, or just treating yourself. It’s even Mama Dukes' favorite, and that says a lot! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Peruvian flavors.

I have to say that I am very surprised with this restaurant. I have returned after two years and the change is very noticeable. We ordered a combo of POLLO A LA BRASA , SALCHIPAPA , salad and chicha . The French fries were fresh and crispy. The grilled chicken was exquisite, cooked to perfection, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The generous portion of salad was flavorful with the Peruvian-style salad vinaigrette. Without a doubt, you can't go wrong with choosing this combo. We also ordered a portion of mixed chaufa rice. I have to confess that as a Peruvian who misses the flavors of her homeland, I am always looking for a restaurant that has the same seasoning of Peruvian dishes as in my beloved Peru, and I think I found my favorite place to eat Peruvian chaufa rice.
After eating everything, I realized that I didn't take any photos, and I regret it (I think it was the excitement). We took home a box of arfajoles. The arfajoles deserve a big applause and a standing ovation!!! Delicious, soft, somehow spongy, balanced with the creamy dulce de leche (manjar blanco) and a touch of powdered sugar make each bite sublime and addictive!
Service at the table was 10 out of 10, they were fast, kind and helpful. they brought the order almost immediately.

Just went here for a birthday dinner. The service was phenomenal. I ordered the lamb and my fiancé ordered the goat. The food was so flavorful and fell off of the bone. I will definitely come back.

The food here is absolutely AMAZING—everyone needs to experience it at least once. However, the service could use some improvement. The staff isn’t very attentive; you often have to call them over for basic things, as they don’t check in to see if you’re ready to order or need anything else. Additionally, be mindful when reviewing your bill—tip is included, but they don’t always mention it, which can lead to accidental over-tipping. While the food alone makes it worth a visit, I hope the service improves to match the quality of the cuisine.

Placed a small order at 6 for a pickup at 8, arrived at 8:15 and didn’t get order until 9:30, 30 minutes after they close. They told me they ran out of food and say my only option is to take one of the kitchen workers food they had left for themselves. Got no compensation since they said the food is the same as my order just cut into smaller portions(it’s the principle that matters). Every single time I have placed an order here I have had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes each time regardless if I order ahead or not. The food has always been good and up until now worth the wait but an hour and a half wait to be told they ran out of food is inexcusable.

The food is great, the customer service is awful.
