Southdown Coffee - Patchogue

I absolutely love Southdown’s chai tea latte it is filled with spice, which I much prefer over sweet. All the staff are extremely friendly. It’s clean and everyone has a smile on their face when they greet you. I’m there probably every day sometimes twice a day.

Nice coffee shop that offered a good cup of coffee. I haven't tried their treats but they looked great. They have ample indoor seating. Cozy and inviting. Outside there is a courtyard with tables and umbrellas where you can sit and enjoy your treats too. Staff is friendly. Inside is clean. Great place to have a coffee and treat while relaxing.

Stopped by for the first time today after run club and the strawberry matcha was perfect! High quality matcha bright green matcha whisked right in front of me and the iced drink was the perfect sweetness. I love that they utilize seasonal fruit for their beverages and can’t wait to delve into their artisanal coffee menu.
The atmosphere inside is drenched with natural light and filled with plants. Seems like a lovely place to get some work done when I need to get out of the house.

The only thing I have to say, is about the drink. I ordered a latte today, and it tasted like milk and water. There wasn’t much flavor in it. I felt like I was drinking coffee from broken down coffee machine. Don’t order latte. The drink is not good Or maybe it could be the person that made it. But for a first impression, not impressed.

Stopped in for a few drinks. Very smooth matcha, no grains at bottom of drink and no unpleasant bitterness. Coffee very smooth as well. Chai was nicely spiced. Nothing overtly sweet. Double chocolate cookie was delicious. The sea salt on it was a very nice touch. Nice work to the staff, ya’ll really did ya thing! You deserve some improvised jazz: zee bop do bop cha cha oooh zoot doot doot doot doo (I did tip them with cash earlier, this is just extra)

Coffee is always consistent. I love the vibe in there with the plants. Sometimes it can be hard to find seating on the weekend (saturdays especially)
