This place has a great vibe. It is an upscale hangout that has a comfortable atmosphere. The bartenders are very skilled (Anthony and Dillon). They can make any drink and I was really impressed with the whole focus on the customers. They were attentive and friendly. It was my first time there but won’t be the last. It would be a great before or after dinner place. We had wonderful meal downstairs in the Shand before stopping up. The service makes this a place to go. Unlike many places, they really make you feel like they are glad you are there and they really want to take care of you. It was refreshing. Top tier!

Me and the kids, older kids had dinner upstairs at Shands called the state room. Dinner and apps were great, just a bit pricey on the strip steak. 85. For a thin steak is a bit much. Wasn't quit cooked med rare, alittle toward med well. All in all it was a great night. Staff and bar tenders were awsome

My second time reviewing this place cause this time I had my 25th birthday here with friends and family . I was absolutely obsessed ! Everything about that night was perfect . Julian the event director helped me set up and plan everything before she was so sweet and provided me with all the info and made adjustments to make sure my night was spectacular. Francis the bartender hands down took care of me and my guests all the drinks were perfect and the attention to detail was top tier . The service provided from every server was impeccable. I really can’t thank every single person in the stateroom / Shands enough. Highly recommend ❤️. Thankyou for making my birthday so special and memorable.

Beautifully done interior and great service but the food is totally untraditional. The place was packed I had dinner with 8 other people. I had the Pork steak and it was overcooked. I would like to go back but I wouldn't know what to order.
Last night we went there for my wife’s birthday and there was a miscommunication about shands vs the stateroom dining in the reservation. Jamie, the manager, went up and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we enjoyed our evening. The food was fantastic, the staff was wonderful, and he really went up beyond to make sure we felt special. We will be back!

This is the place Patchogue has been waiting for! When you've aged out of the loud, crowded chaos of Main Street and are looking for a specialty cocktail (or mocktail!!) and some quality bites, it's up the stairs to The State Room bar. It's elegant yet casual, intimate but inviting, and everything was delicious.
The staff is passionate about their roles there; they were easily and eagerly able to describe the items on the menu with ingredients, preparations, & allergens (I'm gluten free) and share their favorite recs when we were stuck between literally everything on the menu.
