5/5! I cannot recommend the state room ENOUGH! I just had my daughter's baptism lunch this past weekend and the food, ambiance, service, environment were all 10/10! Julian was an amazing hostess who catered all of our needs from beginning to end, even offering custom napkin colors, helping us run stuff from car to venue, providing easels... she made the event absolutely seamless. I cannot wait to host a party here again. All of our friends and family were also raving about the food and how lovely the day was! We cannot thank you enough State Room!!!

While visiting my parents here on Long Island, we decided to try The State Room after hearing good things through word-of-mouth and seeing the stellar reviews online. We were not disappointed.First off, we were served by Bert behind the bar. His experience in the bar/restaurant industry really shines, and the service he provided was impeccable. He went above and beyond discussing the process he uses to create the cocktail menu and was very patient chatting about mixology with me. Super personable and pleasant guy, great to talk to and very knowledgeable. His passion for his craft really shows through.The cocktails themselves were also delightful! My parents go for sweeter, more approachable drinks generally, and they very much enjoyed the Pecan Horchata (my dad added rum, which made it even better!) I started with the Tom Kha Cocktail, which was a nice, fresh, fruity drink without being cloyingly sweet and with some added depth from the mildly spicy jalapeño powder. Bert also made me a cocktail with gin and melon liqueur (among other things) that really knocked my socks off. Delicate but still flavorful.The cocktail prices may seem a little steep for the area, but they are clearly using quality ingredients and putting a lot of work into creating the best possible drinks. Definitely worth the price. I can’t wait to try the food next time. If you are a cocktail lover, check this place out—best cocktail bar in the area!

What an exquisite experience we had at The State Room last night! From the hostess to wait staff to a visit from the Executive Chef, Fran Derby, we couldn't have been more pleased. Each dish was joyfully served to us and truly delectable. We also chose a lovely French wine that was excellent. Thank you for a fabulous experience, we loved every moment!

I definitely see why this restaurant is so highly rated! Right as you walk in, you know you are in for a unique experience. The ambiance is very jazzy and secluded. The food and drinks on the menu are not options you will easily find elsewhere. The service was also wonderful and on par. I had an amazing time dining here with my friends, and I will definitely be returning!

We tried flavors which we never would have normally went for. We have always had a fantastic experience at the State Room. It’s hands down the best restaurant in the Patchogue/Bellport area. Menu changes regularly and every dish has its own unique flavors. Every server we’ve ever had has been friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend enough!

Our waitress Eileen was attentive, helpful and very kind! What truly impressed me was when the chef personally visited our table, showcasing his passion for culinary excellence. Overall, The State Room offers a top-notch dining experience that combines outstanding food, impeccable service, and a commitment to supporting local producers. Definitely a spot I will visit every time I’m in NY!

From the moment we stepped in, the warm and intimate atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our server was absolutely wonderful, attentive and added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. As we moved on to our apps and entrees, we were blown away by the interesting flavors and impeccable presentation. It's clear that the chefs at The State Room are truly passionate about their craft. Highly recommend the shrimp and the beef tartare as each was bursting with flavor. We couldn't leave without trying dessert, which was just as delicious as everything else we had. Overall, a wonderful experience!

One of the best hidden gems around!This is the best bar of the area (and one of the top on Long Island). Their drinks are at the level of good Manhattan bars, highly recommended.But that's not all, because their food is also on another level. It's one of our favorite restaurants around, and each dish is so different and tasty. Definitely the best restaurant in Patchogue by far.Service is also great, everyone working there is always nice, friendly, helpful and extremely attentive.Overall, highly recommended, you will not regret it.
