I really liked the shrimp and grits here. It's decently cheesy, and has a good amount of shrimp in it. The rye bread I got was pretty decent; nothing too amazing, but I think it worked well with the grits I got.
Overall, happy to go again! Their menu is pretty big, so I think there are many things to try, like the chicken and waffles.

Food here was absolutely above and beyond my expectations. Corned beef hash was exceptional. Only critique is egg was a little under cook over all amazing. My wife got the eggs Benedict meal and wow…in her words “exquisite flavor on her tastebuds”. Amazing restaurant, would come back here if the world was ending to get that last meal. Bravo Toast!

I go there all the time at least twice if not once a week…I’ve never had a bad experience there but today I got there at 10:45 AM and the line was incredibly long but I still went inside to put my name on the waitlist, the hostess told me 45 minutes which was fine with me. I waited outside in my car literally parked right in front of the place and patiently waited the 45 minutes. I went back inside after 45 minutes and the hostess was seating people that didn’t even have their name on the waitlist and continued to seat people that were just walking in without any wait for them. I asked for the manger and he claimed that they been waiting on the waitlist. I stayed calm, cool and collective because I go there all the time and I didn’t want to start any issues in front of the all the people that were waiting and everyone else that was eating. After the manager telling me that the other groups have been waiting on the waitlist and seated them…he then told me I have one group ahead of me. I patiently waited another 10 minutes then finally the hostess sat me and my girl at a table. We sat there for about another 30 minutes and not one waiter approached us with even a glass of water. I was disgusted, disappointed, confused and in shock in how we were treated especially after I go there all the time. My girl got up and said I’m not waiting here any longer and we both left. Absolutely furious with the experience I had today. I hope that one day the restaurant gets their act together and treats everyone equally because I strongly feel like I was discriminated because of me and my girls skin color. whether they are white, black, Spanish, Asian or middle eastern we should all be treated with the same amount of respect, effort, kindness and compassion. All our money is green, no need to disrespect or discriminate for absolutely whatever reason.

Waitresses like ours are really bad for business. They not only destroy the dining experience, but damage the integrity of the restaurant. Our food took a good hour to arrive. Many patrons came after us and received their food 15-20 after arriving, which was a disheartening experience. Our waitress was curt, rude and snappy for no reason other than asking her when our coffees would arrive. Nasty attitude with a forced-niceness vibe. Young and inexperienced with a lack of professionalism. The food wasn't bad and had some good wholesome qualities, but there was no real cohesion to any dish. The chicken and waffles tasted like pure sugar. Corned beef hash was tasty but too much was going on and the flavors were muddled. The best dish was probably the churro french toast as an appetizer for the table. These 2 stars is being generous, to say the least. You can do better (the establishment and potential patrons considering this place). Sheesh!

Came back 10 minutes later and witnessed them seating other people who arrived after us. Ordered BLT avocado toast and received avocado toast. Charged my credit card to the wrong table and then gave that party my credit card, forcing me to cancel my card.

Toast has become a favorite of mine for brunch. Miss Lucy’s Tortilla skillet! Is a fav! Although I do exchange the regular sausage for Chorizo it’s outstanding! It works out to be two meals in one depending on your appetite! Fresh Orange juice? Fluffy pancakes (in a variety of flavors) and I can’t leave out my Chai Latte is barely even scratching the surface of what Toast has to offer. Their loft Industrial look with its antique additions is both eclectic and inviting. Cheers! Until next time!

Ordered a sausage egg and cheese with homefries. Homefries never came. Sandwich was ice cold and absolutely DISGUSTING. Inedible. Place should be ashamed of themselves sending out a $20+ order like that. I am disgusted. Absolutely rubbery eggs that were ordered over medium, enough cheese to clog an artery, SATURATED in ketchup and grease. This is absolutely disgusting I would never recommend this place to anyone nor go there in person or order takeout again.
