This place is great, both the drink & staff are amazing! Izzy is so friendly and the staff went out of their way to help me surprise a friend there.

What a wonderful discovery not too far off Route 22! The food is fresh and delicious. I had the split pea soup and black bean burger with avocado and both were amazing. I also had a matcha latte with oat milk which was also great! There’s one large table downstairs by the window but a beautiful large sunlight area upstairs with seating. Plus there’s a lovely outdoor garden area for seating when the weather is nice. I didn’t get any of the baked goods but they had a nice selection with fresh bread as well. A small selection of curated products for sale also rounds out this cafe. Would highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options for vegetarians.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free and vegetarian options
Parking: I had no trouble finding free parking on the street near the cafe.

do not eat here!! for the price, the food was mediocre at best. the employees are all lovely people and the service was amazing, but i had to wait incredibly long for my food since there was only 1 girl running around. the building itself is disgusting and looks like the walls need to be power washed. i wish the owner had been there so i could direct these complaints in person.
edit: forgot to mention i visited this cafe a while ago (~2 months ago when i was in ny for a summer girls trip). appreciate the reply from the owner, wish google would let me reply back!!

Fantastic place! It’s really one of a kind. I would recommend stopping in, it is way bigger than it looks.
How many places have outside seating, 2 floors, cafe, bar, food, local products, and a bakery? Everyone was also very nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience, very friendly and helpful, DELICIOUS FOOD!! Great menu with many choices, outdoor 2nd floor dining was a great option in the village of Pawling, very peaceful. Would recommend anyone to go!
Something I really liked - as a person with celiac disease - is that their gluten-free baked goods are in their own display case and covered with glass. Too many places don't do that. I didn't get anything because I wasn't certain about cross-contamination and they seemed busy, so I didn't want to interrupt the flow to ask. I feel like they would have been nice if I had though; they weren't so busy that they were annoyed and the service was very friendly.
They also have ice cream from the Carmel Creamery in pints, and had a GF flavour!
Nice setting, and the latte I ordered was made to perfection.
