140 Kitchen in Peekskill has been the talk of the town with its new Italian cuisine drinks & Wine . It was the PERFECT local restaurant for a Saturday Date Night . We ordered the Arancini to start , Fig & Roasted Goat Cheese Salad , Pesto Cream Crusted Salmon and the Bucatini Carbonara which was absolutely delicious . The Arancini was so good we had to order another before leaving . Afterwards we went next door to its Speakeasy called ‘PEEKEASY’ located behind a creamery . I highly recommend coming here with your family and friends . We will be back again to experience the live music !

It’s a shame the food here is so delicious because the service is absolutely terrible. Took a chance and decided to bring my family here for my birthday dinner. Wish I never did. We were basically ignored the entire night and had to hunt down our server for straws, to go boxes, the check, etc. my mom’s food came out about 15 minutes later than everyone else’s because they forgot to put her order in. Unfortunately, they seem to pay more attention to the people at the bar, than the people dining with them. Will never spend a penny here again, no matter how good the food is. How you’re treated is so much more important, and I did not feel welcome here.

While waiting for our table for 4 that we had reservations for we sat at the bar for a cocktail. The bartender did not acknowledge us for quite some time. He appeared to be annoyed that he had to serve us. Once seated the menu was completely different from the menu on line. We ordered salads that were sub par. The calamari was delicious but as we're eating our appetizers our dinner was brought out! Tried to order a glass of Prosecco only to be told they don't have any. So we asked for a glass of Malbec and they didn't have that either! This was Saturday night to be in short supply is insane! Overall experience was awful!!

The food was excellent and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the carbonara bucatini and the pumpkin ravioli. The salad portions are generous and tasty. We will be returning again soon.

Although the food was fairly good, including one excellent appetizer, the overall experience was unpleasant. Our table of four people was the only one in the restaurant - so one would expect decent service. That was definitely not the case. The waiter left the menus, which were printed on copier paper, on the table and then disappeared. When we asked for a wine list we were told that they didn't have one. When asked what wines they had he named three white varieties and two reds. No information on which brands or even countries. We had to flag him down when he was going past to place our orders. The longish wait for the food to arrive seemed odd - but the appetizer was good. When we were finished eating we actually had to call out to get the waiter to come back - then had to ask if they had a dessert menu. We selected the tiramisu which seemed stale and asked for the check which also took a very long time to arrive. The ‘suggested tips' at the bottom of the credit card slip started at 20% - not the usual 15% - which given the horrible service was just one more annoyance. While I usually tip 25%, I actually considered leaving only 15% but figured that since he only had one table for the entire evening the waiter probably needed the money more than I did so left 20. We will not be going back again.

We booked last minute and had a great surprise. The signature cocktails and food were great! We shared a few dishes- shrimp, broccoli tempura, wings and then had a mushroom bao bun. All very tasty (especially the shrimp). Our friend had the parpadelle special, and it was enormous. Attentive service. Highly recommend.

The perfect Sea Breeze! The absolutely delicious Bang Bang Shrimp! The mouth watering Strip Steak and Truffle Fries. Finally, Chef Mike preformed a miracle with his Lemon Curd Tiramisu. Where? At the 140 Kitchen! If you haven't gone there yet, get in the car and do so. Where the old Gleason's was and for you old timers, Miller's Bar and Grill. Hurry, it's GREAT! Peekskill on South St.

Visited 140Kitchen on a Thursday for an early dinner. The food was delicious and flavorful. It was quiet when I went with only 2 other couples seated in the dining room. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. I am looking forward to returning and trying some other menu items. My friend and I opted for sharing plates and had the bang bang shrimp, 140 salad, fries, wings, Mac & cheese and ended on a sweet note with their chocolate mousse cake sourced from local fave - Homestyles Bakery.

The food and atmosphere were amazing! We ordered the Dino rib, Gouda Mac and cheese (which was outstanding), and the chicken sandwich. The flavors were exceptional! We also got the broccoli tempura for appetizer- so crunchy and flavorful! Drinks were top notch as well- especially the bourbon cocktail! The service from the chef and bartender were above and beyond. Would definitely come back for more!

A very interesting, rich and flavorful menu. The Blackberry Gimlet is a delicious way to kick off your meal. There is a lot of spice and seasoning in everything we ate - and that can be a great thing or a not so great thing. If you're not into a taste you really won't be into it! We were about 80% positive hit rate and will have to go back to try more dishes. A very different vibe from the previous place located here (Gleason's).

Delicious food. Get ribs, has special bbq sauce with sesame and cilantro that make very interesting flavors. Panini brisket is very special. I usually beware eating french fries but they served so delicious fries i could not resist emptying the plate. Two people can eat for $50-60
