Service was a bit slow - at a nice place i expect to order a cocktail, then my meal. We waited about 15 minutes after being sat and then were asked to order everything. Normally I would wait, but it had already been 15 minutes... Food was good, nothing great.
My reviews for everything about Apropos are always top notch. I go there often as I am a local. I'm not giving 5 stars this time as I am a bit disappointed in my 2:00 pm lunch reservation timing. I realize this is the final slot for lunch with dinner beginning at 5:00pm. In addition, I realize that we had late guest arrivals at our table but we all tried to make things work out by getting their orders in advance while they were driving up and sitting in traffic. My wife and I had a lovely dinner. Beautiful setting right on the Hudson River, and we really enjoyed our food and the service. The salmon and Cacio e Pepe were delicious. Try the Sazerac cocktail, as well!
