Johnny was our server, and he was fantastic! He even took us for a tour of the grounds after dinner, since we were some of the last customers there! Great food and beautiful location!
We are restaurant owners in the city and we can tell you that the cooking in Apropos stands up to good fine dining places in the city. We are so happy we decided to stay at the hotel and dine at Apropos. Our favorite bites were the tuna tartare and the duck breast. Amazing! Staff is efficient and friendly. Everyone knew it was my birthday because I marked it on the reservation. It seems simple but trust me, I don’t expect staff to know in most establishments. We will come back...
The Inn/restauurant is beautifully situated with stunning views of the Hudson River from one room. We ate both indoors and outdoors over the course of our stay. The garden is an absolutely lovely setting in the summer. The indoor room we sat in had a wall of windows to take in the beautiful view. The food was good, but the service was generally off.
