Delicious rotating specials add a fun layer to the delicious menu of options. We've never had a bad sandwich, nor a bad experience. Staff is awesome and kind. They've been more than willing to make swaps for dietary needs. Supports the community and are great partners to work with. Give them some love, and you'll get deliciousness in return.
Kid-friendliness: Adventurous youngsters will like the options, and for the less adventurous, there is always grilled cheese or a hotdog you can get plain. Lots of snacks and drinks options available. Students have special options for after school.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible, as there are about 4+5 steps up to the entrance. You can call in an order and they would probably meet you outside if needed. Fantastic staff.
very good!! mom wanted to try both of the vegan options and she ended up liking the tofu veggie more than the buffalo chickpea, the balance of fillings is a little off in the chickpea sandwich (too much chickpea, not enough of the other toppings).
I had the chili crisp turkey and thoroughly enjoyed it since it had all of my favorite things (arugala, monchego, buttery toasted bread) but did think that the chili crisp mayo could be spicier.
Still a very positive experience overall! Especially because the staff are so personable and the interior design is nostalgic and fun (although it's takeout only).
I had the thai chicken sandwich and macaroni salad for lunch……… IM OBSESSED! Absolutely delicious and the employees are so friendly! Will definitely be back!

The Prosciutto Paisan is THE perfect sandwich - salty and sweet, dressed yet satisfyingly crunchy, and just the right amount of creaminess from the mozzarella. It’s all I’ve ever ordered from Benny’s and it never disappoints. If it doesn’t sound right for you my family tells me the rest of the menu is equally tasty (my husband’s fave is the Chimi Chimi and the 4yo devoured the grilled cheese, grown-up style today). Added bonus: take out to the waterfront/playground for a picturesque family lunch on the go.

Seriously baller vibes and top notch eats! The beer and snack selections are fun and unique and the sandwiches are hands-down the best - completely drool-worthy! Can't recommend the tuna enough and my husband had the roast beef sandwich and said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. And I could eat multiple containers of the macaroni salad all by myselfffff.
The best sandwiches we’ve tasted in NY so far! Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area. We had a Thai sandwich and a veggie one—both were delicious!
The only downside is the lack of dining space, but we found a nice picnic spot nearby!
