Better than average brunch especially for a pub. Loved the pie shaped hashbrowns and the corn beef hash. Solid mimosas. Knowledgeable bar tender who called out the highlights in their beer selection. It's a little divey, but that's part of the charm. Need to stop in when the weather is warmer. Soldi option for Peekskill.

The best of Peekskill!! Farm to table, and absolutely delicious. My personal fav is the beet and quinoa burger. This is my pick when friends come to town!

What a joke of a place. Went in on Tuesday evening. Nobody was in the place. Should have realized that was a big red flag. Asked the bartender what to order food wise, she recommended the brisket grilled cheese and it might be one of the most disgusting things I've ever experienced in my 38 years on this planet. The brisket was beyond inedible, I wouldn't feed it to a dog or a raccoon. It was like chewing on rubber bands. I asked for a burger, cooked medium instead and they obliged but the burger was raw, not rare, raw. So I ate a couple fries and just took the L, but to make matters far worse, I went to the bathroom and overheard the cook joking and laughing that he sabotaged my burger on purpose because how dare I send food back. No wonder this place is going out of business.

I can say, without exaggeration, that this is one of the world’s most perfect bars.
Ordered a truffle burger medium-well, but it was served raw and undercooked. Unacceptable.

My friend and I had a great post-hike lunch at Birdsall. We found this charming place on Google maps and sat outside in their patio. We ordered the smash burger, fries, beet arugula salad, and a small IPA pint. If you’re a burger purist, you’re in luck. Everything was delicious and we especially enjoyed the homemade mustard and ketchup that came with the smash burger. Our server was great and we would make this a regular spot if we were locals. It was also very affordable which is a nice break from overpriced NYC food and beer. We’ll be back!!

We stopped here during a day trip into town and really enjoyed it! The Reuben sandwich and brisket grilled cheese were both delicious, super hearty, and generously sized—perfect comfort food after our hike nearby. Great spot for a satisfying meal.

This place is fantastic. Laid back vibe, good music and chill staff. Danny the bartender is a friendly dude and they have a unique offering of drafts. The porter was one of the best I’ve had in a while (from Great Lakes) and the nachos here are top 3 nachos I’ve ever had.
House made blue tortilla chips, loaded with house made jalapeños and cheddar cheese and a homemade chili that is borderline mole sauce with nice chunks of beef. Will be ending all day hikes here.

Vegetarian perspective
Really impressed with all the vegan and vegetarian options here! Came for lunch and the vibe inside was great. Cool artwork on the walls, bar plus booths.
Great portion sizes and the homemade ketchup and mustard to go with the fries was an unexpected treat! Had never seen that before and that really helped this place stand out.

Wings were terrific. Burgers were fine. Recommended Ruben was so fatty, thick cut and tasteless it was sent back. Took forever to get my replacement burger and no consideration for the inconvenience on the bill. Server was nice. Drink prices surprisingly reasonable for top shelf cocktails.

Although the service was good, we were disappointed with the Reuben sandwiches that we ordered. Very little meat and fillings. Lots of french fries, but they were burned. Certainly not worth the $20 they charged per plate.
