It was a delight to eat outside for brunch with my Mom for Easter. Food was good and Service was excellent.
Great patio for a nice casual family meal on a nice day! We loved the Buffalo cauliflower and beet burger and we will be back to have these (probably often!)! Service was very attentive and all food came out hot. Great place for an outdoor family meal!
Went for Dinner before show at the Paramount, very good meal nice menu with plenty of options
Food is delicious and comes out very quickly, nice list of beers and cocktails, poor whiskey selection. Service is good. It becomes quite loud inside, as it's a smaller space and fills up quickly. Overall, very good and we'd go back.
This was my first time at Birdsall House, but one person in our group had been there many times. The food was delicious. The staff was super helpful, polite and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all. The only negative was that the music was a bit too loud for a light afternoon crowd. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Our waitress, Emily, was knowledgeable and more than helpful. I would go back again just for her, even if the food and drink weren't as good as they were. Also, the fact that they cared enough to provide a selection of nonalcoholic adult beverages was a plus.
Delicious food. Server super friendly and very attentive. AWESOME cocktails, beer, and after-dinner drinks selection. I absolutely LOVE this place and continue to return.
Bald guy at the bar was extremely rude

Best burger I’ve had in a long time—super juicy and cooked just right (medium rare). Loved the hand-cut fries, crunchy pickles and condiments, all made in-house. Waiter was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Drinks, too!

We really liked the service, the design - we’re partial, loved the art but the atmosphere was too depressing. No edge except the canoe. Prices are alright. Burger was surprisingly good, fries too. Mac N Cheese… borderline disrespectful. The cheese was soup, no burner was used, feels like cheap pasta was microwaved. No lie and not for drama - it also had a hair inside. 🤦♀️

Fall in the garden is perfection, but we've enjoyed visiting at all times of year. Inside is cozy and perfect if it's a cool or rainy day. The on tap selection is always great, as are the seasonal house made cocktail offerings. Food is always delicious, and the chefs kiss is the house made sauces! Bring the kids, bring friends, bring family and out of town tourists. Great location, and add a touch of history to your meal.
Parking: Street parking only. Free after 6pm or on weekends.
Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is good. Mine love it. Simple but perfect. There are outdoor activities if it's nice weather.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps anywhere, slight incline out the door to the garden. Bathrooms are large, with the women's having 1 stall, that is rather deep, and might be hard to navigate with a wheelchair.

I went there for the first time this past weekend after hearing about it for years. It took at least five awkward minutes after the 3 of us sat down at the bar, for a single person to even acknowledge our existence. The place was not busy, maybe 1/4 of the tables were full, about 5 other people at the bar.
Food was fine, they didn't have my initial choice so I went with a burger.
When I tell you they did not acknowledge the three people that sat down at their bar for 5 minutes, I'm being completely serious. No "hey guys give me just a minute", no "hang on a sec I'll be right with you", not even a "hello." Neither of the two bartenders even looked at us.
It felt very "your kind ain't welcome here" to be honest. I guess we weren't dressed hip enough?
Overpriced beers, faux-fancy overpriced gastro-pub menu (that didnt even have the dishes listed on their regular menu) and the worst service I've experienced in probably 10 years of dining out with my group of friends.
Overall, this place left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Needless to say, I will not be going back.
Edit to respond to the "owner"- the bartender was pouring beers from the tap right in front of my face without even looking up at us. I can appreciate a busy bartender...I really do get that. However I feel like he could have moved his gaze 3 inches higher and acknowledged my existence.

The food was great! Reasonable pricing, nice variety! My only complaints were the service. Our poor server was extremely overwhelmed! Totally not her fault. The restaurant was very busy and looked understaffed. She had tables both inside and out. She was apologetic and super sweet! And the drinks took a long time. I think there was only 1 bartender for the crowded restaurant on a Saturday. We will give this place another try..
