Great place to grab a bite before a show. Nice menu selection.. delicious fries! The cute bartender was helpful in filling in some forgotten info about the establishments history when it was our stomping grounds in the 1800s 😉
Excellent server, Nick T., responsive to special request and food sensitivities. Food was very good for Gastropub fare. I had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The bacon and onion jam was a delicious addition. The option of outdoor seating was nice but we remained indoors because of the threat of rain.
Two of us ate here, and sat in the outside area. It could use a little sprucing up, but it was pleasant enough. It is right on the street so there was some noise, by an 18 wheeler, and a passing ambulance...but not constant. We both chose the Beet Salad with Grilled chicken...recommended by our very pleasant server, Emily. It was delicious if you like beets! We do. We had crème brûlée for dessert, was delicious!!!
