Carolina's Ice Cream Cafe

Very good ice cream. Better than any of those big ice cream shops. The ice cream was incredibly rich and flavorful, with a great variety of unique flavors to choose from. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax and indulge. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The website says hours on Friday night are until 8:30pm. We drove all the way here and arrived by 8:00 and they were closed. Disappointing. .

Drove all the way there on Father’s Day (a Sunday) because Google said they were open and when we got there they were closed. Very disappointing.

Very nice people and the ice cream is freshly made with a slice of Peruvian ice cream coming to the states. Loved their ice cream!!

Went out of way to try them...online said open...in actuality they were closed. Smh

This is our favorite ice cream place in Peekskill. We have gone countless times this summer. They have the usual flavors, as well as some South American flavors. I haven't had any of the regular ones, because the exotic ones are so fun to try. Lucuma was like a brand new, totally unexpected taste to me, and I am addicted to it. Also the mango ice cream is excellent- I've never had mango ice cream, only mango sorbet, and this is great. Everything is homemade. The staff are all lovely.A note: I've seen a few reviews complaining about the flavor selection, and stating that they strongly prefer Carvel or some other corporate chain that gets their ice cream shipped in giant vats on a weekly basis from some factory somewhere. It seems like the issue here is just misplaced expectations, and possibly some aversion to new things. I would not pay them any mind. One of the guys actually said "I wasn't expecting much since it's homemade". These are the kind of people that get mad when their burger isn't perfectly round like McDonalds makes it.

fantastic homemade ice cream! stopped by as a family on a lark, everyone got a different flavor. it was so much fun to not only have delicious ice cream, but so many new flavors (in addition to common ones). It was so good that we got a few pints to take home. can't wait to go back! prices were reasonable, service was excellent. Check out the lucuma ! Can't wait to try new flavors.

AMAZING passion fruit and lucuma ice cream! Also got to taste the soft serve and can't believe they change flavors regularly - I *love* soft serve so I'll be coming in regularly!

Today, I went to Carolina’s and ordered a vanilla soft serve with Oreo toppings. They did not have whip cream in stock and looking at the ice cream it did not look appealing and the vanilla was a yellowish color. It did not taste good and it was very disappointing. Such a waste of $4 and this whole store and its prices are a total rip off. I would recommend that you improve on the toppings because there is not really much to choose from and not the best quality of taste. The topping didn’t even make it better and It seems like they reuse the same toppings (look expired tbh). The flavors need to get better. Overall, I was not expecting much from this shop because it is not popular and homemade but it could’ve been better. Don’t think I will order from here again.

Omg....so many flavors that not your typical ice cream flavors. Sorry I can't think of one but it's very good and clean and friendly. We take our granddaughter and sit while enjoying our ice cream. You should try it!
