Lack of communication. No Portuguese speaks, no English good speakers, it is a Spanish place trying to do a terrible Rodizio, it is not close to a Brazilian Rodizio restaurant. The food quality is not bad, however doesn't worth the price and distance that I drove. The REAL RODIZIO NEVER STOPS COMING, this place brings you a few skewers and later stars to bring you a few peaces of meat of your preference.

We had an amazing experience. We took the Rodizio Brazilian dining experience and got a TON of great tasting meats with plenty of sides too. The staff was very kind and walked us through an introduction to great tequila tasting which was a first for us. Highly recommend it. The roasted pineapple for dessert was a great discovery as well.

We visited about a week or so ago on a Wednesday night. I had the Salmon and my husband had the "Full Experience" option I believe it was. My son had the chicken tender with french fries from the kids menu.Overall, the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly, professional, and extremely attentive. The vibe is quiet and romantic but I saw that it seems they also have live music later at night. Perfect for a couples night out or a family dinner. 10/10 and would absolutely recommend.

This place had been here for about a year and a half and I’m sad I never knew about it until now. Extremely glad I found this place. Environment was great, service was excellent with nothing but kindness and prompt attention. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming here and I’ll be back for sure.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was good. My son loved the chicken tenders and fries

I went here today after being recommended. My friend and I both ordered the steak sandwich. The steak was so fatty and chewy and completely lacked flavor. We both ordered sodas and they never came. My friend also wanted her sandwich to be the better cut steak and no pickles and she didn’t receive the better steak and there was pickles. The fries were undercooked and super greasy. The server was completely inattentive even though there was only one other table seated. She didn’t come by at all to ask if we need anything and never brought over the check or asked if we wanted dessert.

Don’t often leave bad reviews, but hoping the owner sees this so they can improve. Leaving two stars instead of 1 because the servers were very sweet. Unfortunately, my food was horrendous. I’m not a picky eater, but nobody would have eaten this. I came for lunch and got a steak sandwich that was so fatty it was inedible. Chewy, couldn’t even cut into it, absolutely dripping in fat. I swallowed only a little bit and became instantly nauseous. Came with fries that were pale, greasy, and undercooked. Food like this should not be served to the public. Really disappointed.

Went there on a Monday, thinking it should be quiet, which is great for fast service. Drinks took over 20 minutes, and the best part about the night, they were out of steak; ALL STEAK.....at a steakhouse..... we tried twice, not coming back.

We came here on a Thursday night for the rodizio dinner. Carlos took care of us the entire night and l. He was kind, thoughtful and very well educated about the differen cuts of meat. The food is delicious and all of the meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection.Sides- you must get the beet salad and pasta salad with ham !We’ve had our fair share of rodizio meals and we think it beats Fogo de Chau and Rainhaus.

The food and service here are both great! The waitstaff are very responsive to requests (and brought me the super rare steak that I love!) and are good at bringing a steady stream of meat to your table. The options are varied— and a special mention must be made for the pork sausage! I usually skip the sausage (saving maximum room for the steak haha) but I am very glad I tried this one! Great balance, very juicy, and so delicious! The red sangria is good—but strong! Highly recommend starting with a glass and not a pitcher for the table if you plan on driving home for your dinner.Next time I’ll try and save some room for dessert because the tartufo looked delicious!

The ambience is nice the food is absolutely terrible horrible quality and the wait staff doesn't know how to do much the kitchen is run poorly as the food takes over an hour to come out I don't see this place being in business much longer unless they're making their money from drinks and a late night crowd they should just stop serving food all together

Went with a group of 6 and we all left so full. Great drinks and friendly service, Carlos was a great waiter and was attentive despite being the only staff at front of house; he made sure we were taken care of and answered all our questions!

We ventured to Gauchos last night before seeing a show at the Paramount. Here, Gauchos deserves only one star. The wait staff, although very nice, was incredibly inexperienced, not prepared for a crowd, and couldn’t make heads or tails of honestly anything that was going on.Drinks took 45mins-1 hour to come out. We ordered a Sprite, a Club Soda, Two Beers, an Old Fashion and an Espresso Martini. Unbelievable it took 45mins to an hour to come out. Had we not been going to the show at the Paramount, we would have left right then and there. In fact, we did see about 4 tables get up and leave for lack of service and attention.Sides were tastey, but the servers did not provide any utensils for the side dishes and didn’t provide napkins. When asked, we never received serving utensils, but did receive little cocktail napkins. Really? Cocktail napkins? When the rodizio came out, now about 1:30 from when we sat down, it was tasty, but the service was so slow that it felt like an eternity until the next meat came. This is quite a shame because the price for the rodizio experience was not Pennie’s, therefore, we definitely did not get our monies worth. Now, as noted above, we were there before the show at the Paramount. We had a reservation at 6 pm thinking it would be plenty of time for the 8:00 show. Nope! After experiencing the snail-like service, we asked for the check around 7:40. We asked for the check three times. Finally, enough was enough - we went to the bar and grabbed our check, paid and left. For a party of 6, 4 cocktails, a sprite and a club soda, the tab came out to $400 before tip. The atmosphere was nice, but thinking about this more today, it was the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig.Honestly, we should have walked out after the drink situation and went to Whiskey River. Respectfully, we will not be returning to Gauchos any time soon. This just seems to be yet another failed Peekskill restaurant.
