My last review of this restaurant including the outdoor dining experience was quite favorable. We returned on a chilly winter night on Friday, looking forward to another good meal. I had been familiar with their short rib featuring a red wine demi, garlic mash and fresh vegetables, so I ordered it without looking at the menu. Silly me. Friday night someone in the kitchen had the terrible idea to do the short rib with barbeque sauce. WHO DOES THAT??? The meat had also not been cooked long enough, so my guess is the chef was just punting....... My appetizer of flash fried calamari was bland and had the feel of having been cooked in a air fryer. Virtually no flavor and a bit of a cardboard feel. My wife had a bisque that was quite good and the grilled seafood salad that was at best.... fair. This bad experience and their ever changing hours have removed this restaurant from my list going forward.
