This was our first time at Fin and Brew and 100% not our last. Not only is it a beautiful restaurant with incredible views of the Hudson. But what truly makes this place stand out is the wonderful staff complimented by the great food. Our waiter Sylvester was top-notch when we asked him if he could take a picture of us as it was our anniversary not only did he agree to but told us to step outside so that we could take a picture with the beautiful view of the Hudson behind us. This was even before we ordered. That alone raised our expectations of what we were in store for. This place did not let us down at all.
The menu was varied and interesting. I want to try more options. The food delicious and beautifully presented. We all are looking forward to returning.
Amazing date spot, vibes are perfect. Right by the water always makes things better. The food options had great variety in its meals and each one was very well curated. If you make a reservation make sure you note that you want to be seated outside, otherwise you get a table inside.

Beautiful location, especially on a beautiful day. Some really good dishes. HAd an issue with those lantern flies, but not their fault. Highly recommend.
Love the vibes and the food here

we went "for the view", not knowing what to expect foodwise... we shared a salad that was fantastic, the best tomatoes all summer with ricotta and other enhancements ... the swordfish was cooked perfectly with very interesting and flavorful accompaniments ... the salmon was equally wonderful ... we ordered a side order of corn creme brullee that was sinfully delicious ... we will be back!
Terrible experience at Finn and Brew in Peekskill. The restaurant was completely empty, yet the service was awful — slow, (Bree- the manager had us wait over 20 minutes for a table) inattentive, and careless.
To make things worse, we were overcharged for a dessert we never even ordered. When we pointed it out, there was no real apology or effort to make things right. For a place that had no crowd, the service should have been at least decent. Instead, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. Definitely not going back.

Fin & Brew is always top notch from the service to the drinks to the quality of the food! Mike, the Head Chef, always comes out to speak with the diners and make them feel like family. His food is amazing! Mike the bartender will make drinks to your specifications or puts his own unique spin on classic cocktails! Always perfect! I highly recommend eating there especially in the warmer weather because you can't beat the view!

The service was very very slow and we were the first to arrive at 5 my grandsons had to wait over an hour to get their meal. The food was very very good and once we got it. It was delicious.
Oysters. Fantastic.
Shishito peppers. To die for.
Salmon. Michelin star worthy.
Fisherman’s Stew! Really good. But wish they included with bread to soak up all the curry goodness.
Berry Napoleon. So Italian and delicious.
And of course, always the good beers of Captain Lawrence Company.

I could not be more disappointed. Be aware this establishment is racist.
We found Fin & Brew after a day of hiking and with a storm on our heels. We did not make a reservation but we tried our luck anyway and arrived at about 6pm. The hostess (who later identified herself as the manager) very quickly explained to us that they did not have any tables available until 8pm, over explaining something about how the storm is delaying parties, and recommended we try the pub downstairs because it is more “kid friendly”. Among our party of 5 were my two children ages 5 and 7. We did take her advice and headed downstairs to check out the arcade, but we were excited to dine at Fin & Brew so I decided to pull them up on OpenTable to make the 8pm reservation. To my surprise, I was able to make a reservation for just 15 minutes later. They actually had reservations available throughout the entire evening. I made a 6:15pm reservation and took the opportunity to ask why we were turned away and to express my disappointment. The hostess/manager explained that she did indeed see our reservation in the system, but it must be a mistake because they will not be able to service us.
Unfortunately today was the day I had to explain to my young children that sometimes people will take one look at them and refuse them service.
I would never recommend visiting this restaurant.

Beautiful setting along the Hudson River and we were able to get a table outside. Service was very spotty - we ordered drinks and then waited 15-20 minutes for them- by then the gimlet was not very cold and we had to ask for ice. We ordered several appetizers, including oysters, and were going to split and entree and salad for the main course. The waiter assured us we had made great choices. The pork belly stir fry was very good, as were the mussels. We had barely finished those and they showed up with the entree / salad, but we never got our oysters. Waiter realized it as the runner was putting down the entree and sent those back. So, we waited 15 minutes for our oysters and there were very good. The pork chop entree was "ok". It was too rare as we got near the bone (red, not pink) and was not that tender. The sauce was way too overbearing - like spicy chili on a pork chop. And we didn't realize that it came with a corn salad served in a big lettuce cup. We wished the waiter had advised us that having a salad alongside that didn't make sense. We would come back another time for appetizers and cocktails for the view, but skip the entrees
After 5 yrs working in the area, came across this place. The food, service and atmosphere is above my expectations. Definitely will be coming here more often!
