we went "for the view", not knowing what to expect foodwise... we shared a salad that was fantastic, the best tomatoes all summer with ricotta and other enhancements ... the swordfish was cooked perfectly with very interesting and flavorful accompaniments ... the salmon was equally wonderful ... we ordered a side order of corn creme brullee that was sinfully delicious ... we will be back!

Opentable Diner

Fin & Brew is always top notch from the service to the drinks to the quality of the food! Mike, the Head Chef, always comes out to speak with the diners and make them feel like family. His food is amazing! Mike the bartender will make drinks to your specifications or puts his own unique spin on classic cocktails! Always perfect! I highly recommend eating there especially in the warmer weather because you can't beat the view!

The service was very very slow and we were the first to arrive at 5 my grandsons had to wait over an hour to get their meal. The food was very very good and once we got it. It was delicious.

Beautiful setting along the Hudson River and we were able to get a table outside. Service was very spotty - we ordered drinks and then waited 15-20 minutes for them- by then the gimlet was not very cold and we had to ask for ice. We ordered several appetizers, including oysters, and were going to split and entree and salad for the main course. The waiter assured us we had made great choices. The pork belly stir fry was very good, as were the mussels. We had barely finished those and they showed up with the entree / salad, but we never got our oysters. Waiter realized it as the runner was putting down the entree and sent those back. So, we waited 15 minutes for our oysters and there were very good. The pork chop entree was "ok". It was too rare as we got near the bone (red, not pink) and was not that tender. The sauce was way too overbearing - like spicy chili on a pork chop. And we didn't realize that it came with a corn salad served in a big lettuce cup. We wished the waiter had advised us that having a salad alongside that didn't make sense. We would come back another time for appetizers and cocktails for the view, but skip the entrees

Food and service were amazing. My only critique would be to keep the music a little lower.

Food was okay but my friend didn't eat much of her veggie rigatoni. Salmon was good but service slow.

This is one of my favorite restaurants but I must say the menu changes are a bit of a disappointment. There isn't enough choice of fish entrees and they had no sushi.

There was music so it wasn't quiet which is expected when there's live entertainment actually the band was very good. I'm going to call tomorrow to find out their name the outdoor seating could use some umbrellas as it was very sunny and hot when we first arrived, but the ambience and spectacular views of the Hudson river is very nice. The bar was backordered so it took a long time to get our drinks which might be why my drink was just so so my friend did however enjoy her glass of wine , the food made up for it The food was very delicious last night just wonderful place so close to home We had Oysters, special appetizer of carpaccio with burrata and roasted capers which they should put on the menu permanently and a wonderful shrimp fried rice a lovely evening

I'm possible to make a reservation on the phone. Staff was very pleasant and tried really hard, but it was slow as they were understaffed. Food was decent. If you plan on sitting for a long time, the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but when you sit anywhere for three hours any chair could begin to hurt. Overall a great time, really enjoyed it and there is a nice view of the Hudson looking towards the Bear Mountain Bridge.

We sat comfortably inside but would've enjoyed the patio seating were the music there not so loud.

The restaurant was not busy on Sunday night. However it took 1 hour and 10 minutes for the food to come out. After we asked why the delay someone, not our server, came over and said that they had a wedding in the restaurant and the kitchen was backed up. Why weren't we told that when we sat down to order? We asked if there was anything to munch on while waiting and were told no. Our waitress was apologetic but it was not her fault. The food when it came was outstanding. We come to this restaurant often and took two other couples. I doubt that they will ever comeback. We certainly will need to reconsider if we want to return.

Food was so delicious. The fish stew was just superb! Stunning location. Friendly service ( tho understaffed)— definitely want to return with friends.

it was very good overall. but took a long time for food to come. seemed like the waiter forget about us and i had to remind him after 30 minutes that we were still waiting. but generally a very good restaurant, especially for the area

Really nice restaurant. We went to celebrate my son's birthday. They were having a $49.99 Tasting menu where you picked an appetizer, main course and a dessert. The flavors were fresh and delicious. The chef came to our table several times to make sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely come back!
