The service was very uneven. Although the food was good and it came quickly once our order was taken. The staff was polite and helpful, but apparently a little understaffed. The live music was very enjoyable. The room was an excellent space for a musical performance.

Got there @ 5:45 pm and ordered immediately upon being seated. Entree was served over an hour later. We had a show to attend at 7:00, so didn't have time to eat and just asked to have our dinners wrapped up. We left, put the food in our car and got to the show (right around the corner) late. However, the waitress and staff were friendly and did the best they could under the circumstances.

Our waiter was super. The food was plentiful but to my surprise, needed more flavor over all - except the Calamari which was outstanding. We all had different things and all of us felt it was not what we expected having dined here before. Flat tasting from from pizza, meatballs, eggplant parm and po' boy sandwich. That said - enough food that we will have at least 2 meals from our leftovers (after punching them up!) The comedy show was the let-down. Not because the comics were not good - but because the sound system was AWFUL and they could not be heard. The volume was too low and even those who spoke up -it was distorted. I tried to let them know but my comments fell on deaf ears. Instead of fun, it felt like work. Hope if they do it again they get it better.

Delicious pizza, salads, and drinks. Pizza dough is really scrumptious. Service was solid and friendly. My only complaint was that the music was loud rock and this was a little much at brunch time.

Despite other reviews saying problems with slow service we persevered due to proximity to theatre. The restaurant was very empty and we were seated right away- great. Waitress came for drinks and food order right away as well- great. However she didn't write anything down- recipe for problem. Drinks and app arrive fairly quickly (~7/8mins). Then we wait. And wait. Restaurant still mostly empty. After about 35 mins our waitress makes an appearance asking us if we want dessert. We say not yet as we haven't even received our entrees yet. “Oh my” and off to the kitchen. After another 10-15 mins our meals appear. What a surprise!- one of the four entrees was wrong but there was no one around to tell. We suck it up. No one enjoyed their dishes. Three of us had sandwiches. Giant hoagie buns with little in between. Then they pile the plates high with fries. Then we wait for the opportunity to get a dessert. And wait- and wait. We surrender and have to approach the waitress at her workstation to commence the checkout process. To her credit she was always pleasant. Both as for the restaurant just avoid it. There have to be better choices.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR AVOID THIS PLACE. I came to visit my friend from out of town and it was my first time ever visiting Gleasons. I briefly stepped outside of the restaurant to welcome my three friends back in and the RACIST security guard at the front tried to claim that he was informed by another security guard from the restaurant next door not to let me in. He then proceeded to tell me to talk to the other guard who then apologized and told the racist guard to let me in. Claiming it all was a case of mistaken identity. The service was extremely bad and we were ignored by staff for quite a while. P.S. I’m confident that it was racism and I was fully aware of the restaurant I went to. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE…It’s a shame.

The hostess said we had to wait for our table because many tables were "lingering" and they seated us after about a 20 minute wait. It was post start of Paramount show so they should have been able to handle things. Service was timely and attentive at first but as soon as our first drink order was placed it turned very spotty to the point were we had to flag down someone to get our bill and then for them to take the bill for payment. The waitress forgot to put in our salad appetizer and one of the 2nd round of drinks ordered when dinner arrived didn't show up until we were trying to flag the waitress down for the bill! Its location next to Paramount makes is a good place but the service detracts from that. Just glad we weren't trying to make a show.

Way better than the last Gleasons. Always liked their pizza, never had anything else. Pretty solid pizza.

Was there on Jan. 20, 2024 with my son who just turned 13.The place was crowded, there was a great band. The hostess took my name and said it would be about 40 mins. We were cool with the wait. After walking around town on the zero degree windchill for a bit, we returned and she politely informed us that many people were not leaving due to the band but offered us a bistro table in the bar area. The bartender that took care of us, did not get his name as it was loud and my hearing sucks was great. He was a younger man, short dark hair and a manicured beard. The service, food, drink and the band were amazing. The bouncer at the door was also a very polite, helpful man. Would recommend it to anyone looking for some good pizza and Italian finger foods in a great atmosphere, check it out.I would recommend reservations if you are a regimented type of person or are a whiner that would complain if the same situation happened to you.To all the whiners remember life is short, don't make a big deal out of trivial events. Just make the best of whatever may happen.

Bathroom did not have running water. They should have provided hand sanitizer if the city shut off the water.

This was my first time eating at Gleason's and it was very nice. It was my birthday and I was given a free glass of wine. Our waitress was super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband and I had appetizers, which was good, however, my one regret was I didn't ask for my salad dressing on the side as my salad had way to much dressing on it. We each ordered one of their specialty pizzas, which were delicious. Would definitely go back again or order pizza to go.

We went for New Year's Eve and unfortunately they really were not prepared for the event. We were not served our meal until after 11pm. We have been to Gleason's before and have been very satisfied. With service.

Chaz was our server. He was on point. He was personable and did not rush us even though it was New Year's Eve. We love going here before we go to the Paramount for a show. See you again soon.

Skirt Steak was excellent, Lasagna was ok. Service took longer than expected, and the children's personal pizza should have come out faster than it did. But overall I would go again.

Sydney

Not bad. Hated the parking situation but not a bad place. Staff was nice, band was cool. Make sure you make a reservation because they fill up quick and the bar was packed!
