The only thing that I feel they could work on is being a little more welcoming. Maybe smile and not be so serious. Other then that the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I don’t mind eating at Golden Krust, food is good BUT THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY RUDE, the Bronx of me comes out every time I go into this location. It’s like every single staff member is miserable to be working, not a tiny smile from no one. I politely asked if there were anymore spicy beef before I got on the line, I even excused my self from the clients that were waiting on line; I felt like I was shouted at by the staff “ Do you see any spicy here? We don’t have any right now. Come back maybe an hour” not only myself but the people on the line were also flabbergasted. Very rude staff it’s unbelievable.

Horrible costumer service! They are very disrespectful and mean. She did not answer when I asked questions about the food.
Food is not as good as is used to be. They need to hire new people .
We got the Large oxtail . Very small portion for the amount of money you pay. We did not even get veggies and charged the same amount .
So sad because we love Jamaican food but we will never come back to this location !

Initially when this store just opened customer service was superb, now I seldom want to go there the attitude of the servers is just despicable, especially when the owner is not there. Went there to get cabbage and plantain ,she put cabbage into a soup cup and the plantain into a paper bag we asked her to put them into a serving container, she was like portion size. Manager please retrain your staff to be more accommodating like you, and be nice to their customers.

I have had a very great experience with this particular branch!! But today im very disappointed that they sent a wrong order when in fact I ordered something different. Now I’m left to starve and they REFUSED to issue me a refund when I already complained!! I am beyond frustrated. Stay away from THIS BRANCH!! Because I ordered through uber eats they have to investigate first. Now I can’t get a refund and I can’t reorder!! Pretty horrible and waste of my money!! It’s unfair to me as a customer to go through this. Stay away stay away stay away!!

I had to come here and give a review after 3 days of ordering from this location. Typically, Golden krust Food is usually very generic. However, I am doing construction 🚧 in the area and came across this location. Let me tell you! As a person who cooks, their food is the best from all the Golden Krust I've eaten from over the years. Customer service was good! Got greeted with a smile and a very pleasant experience. The food was very succulent. I had the goat, stew chicken, stew peas and mek mi tell yuh! Everything shot. For the people who gave them a 1 star in the past, give them another try! @chefdrizzie sey so!

Quick note: If you are reading previous reviews please note the most recent ones, because this place has clearly had new ownership since the bad reviews from 2yrs ago. The food is tasty, and everyone was pleasant and accomadating. I Loved the oxtail and the sweet chili wings. My portions were fine, unfortunately there is never enough oxtail to me, so tasty.
In any case give these nice folks a try, go small first, grab a lunch special, see how you like it. And again clearly this is new management because I've come here quite a few times and never ran into anything but nice people serving delicious food.

I ordered a chicken soup large with dumplings and yam. All I got with the order was chicken. I specifically asked for dumplings and yam. I was hoping I could upload a phone. My soup has only chicken. I am super angry.

I was just there in February, last month, and had salt fish and rice and spinach, and it was fantastic. There are Golden Krust in The Houston Market area, but nowhere as good as this place. Makes me want to move back up to New York State!!!

Really can't understand why this place doesn't have 5* rating! Maybe bc people complaining of meat portion on platters; maybe it depends what you get. The minute you walk in thr smells are intoxicating. Im not a lover of spice but I am a lover of flavor. I got 1 chicken patty (bc beef were still baking), side order of plantains, 6 sweet chili chicken wings and the special bean soup with pork and beef. Let me tell you that soup was like getting the warmest hug, just perfection! The chicken patty was curry spiced and delish and flakey. Plantains, love but OMG those sweet chili wings to die for! I was going to get curry chicken platter but then opted for wings and so glad I did. It was my 1st time there and it won't be my last. Lots of local Caribbean people supporting their own. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Want great Jamaican cuisine without have to travel to the city. This is the place to go. I drive 25mins and never regret the trip. The staff is friendly and the food is always great. Just be prepared to pay
