I LOVE La Cascada! It's a country club atmosphere (and we are members of Tapatio Springs CC) but the dining is open to the public. The views out to the golf course are beautiful, the atmosphere is modern and elegant, food EXCELLENT, and service also EXCELLENT. I had the pork chop...moist and delicious, also the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Yum! I honestly think La Cascada is great, but ALSO the country club is the BEST VALUE in the hill country!! Two of us ate the special and thought it was very good. One of us had the chicken quesadilla and enjoyed it very much. We ordered the carrot cake and it was a long time coming and a little dry.
We ate here two nights in a row. Beautiful restaurant and great ambiance. Servers were both great both nights. Disappointed because they were out of several regular menu entrees both nights.
