Highly recommend the empanadas and tamales. The mister looks kinda like the World's Most Interesting Man from those beer commercials and is the nicest guy. Oh! Also get a slice of the Tres Leches cake! SO GOOD! Churros are great too!

I am going to start with the positive things about mr. cholado. The place is cozy and clean. service is decent. The Colombian empanadas were good and the carrot cake was yummy and moist. I really wanted to love this place. Because there are not that many good places for Colombian food around here, but the tamales were extremely dry and flavorless. The Ecuadorian empanadas and the arepas also not tasty. Hopefully it was a bad day at the kitchen. I will come back for the Colombian empanadas and maybe try a cholado or any other goodies.

The owner welcomed me with a friendly smile :) I requested something to "cool me off" and he blended an amazing drink of beets, orange, ginger, carrot, and pineapple. Delicious!!! Not only did it cool me off, it gave me a boost of energy no cup of coffee could match. The place is cute and clean. It is clear the owner loves his business and takes pride in its offerings. The sweets look temping and fresh - I will indulge next time! Don't hesitate - this place is a jewel not to be missed

Came here only for dessert. We got the tres leches it was delicius and then we got the cholado it was good, i had better in queens area but it was good enough to take care of that craving, i will come back to try their other choices of food and dessert. Cute little place and friendly staff.
