The Jollof rice was rich, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by a tasty, well-balanced sauce. The branzino was cooked to perfection. The fish was tender, moist, and seasoned beautifully. The sweet plantains added just the right touch of balance to the plate. It was easily one of the best meals I’ve had this year. I also tried Ofori’s jerk chicken, and it was just as memorable. You can truly taste that the food is made with love!

Alisa was a pleasant person and amazing at providing service. The meals ie. Adabraka Kenkey with Red Snapper Green Chilly Sauce was delicious. Captain Ofori’s Fry up was fully loaded with mouth watering sauce. I recommend this restaurant 100%.
Great Gesture from the owner OFORI, was the icing on the cake for us. We love love the food and the service.

OMG let me begin with saying the food at Ofori World Cuisine is amazing! I spent the weekend in Peekskill and had the pleasure of trying a few tasty dishes from their menu. I had jollof rice… delicious to the very last grain. The following day we had brunch. My companion and I had thirst quenching mimosas. Torn between shrimp or oxtail and grits, I had the oxtail n grits. The oxtails were seasoned to perfection as the meat fell off the bone. My companion had fried branzino with plantains. For dinner we had Rasta Pasta with chicken which was EVERYTHING! It had the right amount of spice that gave it a little kick. The food, ambiance and friendly staff left me craving more. I can’t wait for my next visit to Peekskill!

My family and I stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking through Peekskill, and we were so happy we did! The food was absolutely delicious! Easily a 10/10. I had the coconut shrimp tacos, sweet plantains, and shared the calamari with my kids (which they loved). My husband had the oxtail tacos and jollof rice, so good I had to steal a few bites! We also tried the brisket tacos, and they were packed with flavor.
The service was just as amazing. Alyssa was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. The chef even came by our table, which made the whole experience extra special. He was a contestant on Chopped, my daughter’s favorite show, so it made her night.
Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. Such a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Literally EVERYTHING we had was soo good! The food had so much flavor and the service was great. It was great to see Chef Lawrence interacting with the guests and Nefertiti was doing her thing behind the bar! We really enjoyed the food and drinks and left with full and happy bellies. This was a great Father’s Day dinner. We will be back! I’m already planning to get some food to go for lunch this week!

Had the greatest time and most incredible dinner last night at Ofori’s World Cuisine! Always wanted to go check it out and so glad we did! Started with the Ghana punch which was an incredible drink (Alyssa made a perfect cocktail)! Wings were outstanding, best I’ve had in a long time! Seafood bisque not only had great presentation but tasted delicious! We had 4 meals and everything was outstanding! How is this restaurant not constantly packed? Will definitely be back! Thank you for an incredible birthday dinner!

This place was great! As a first-time customer, I was really impressed. Everything I ordered was incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. You could tell they paid attention to detail in the preparation. Plus, the food traveled really well and was still perfect when it arrived. The service was also great. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

This place is so great that I've been here twice in the past two weeks! The first time, Chef Lawrence and his team, including the awesome Breyana, organized a buffet dinner for almost 40 people with classic jollof, chicken, plantain, salad and veggies for a multigenerational gathering for ages 2-50+. The second time I went for mothers day brunch-so delicious, great playlist and friendly people. There is a parking lot right across the street that is free after 6pm on weekdays and free parking on Sundays. Go check out Ofori's!!! Chef Lawrence--you are the BEST-so accommodating, your food is delicious and the vibes of your place are perfection! I'll see you again soon!
