Great place! Went before and after seeing jim breuer. Chelsea the bartender was amazing. We ordered food and didn't come out as quick as we thought it would. Asked if they could hold until after the show and she took care of it. When we went back it was already packed up and ready to go and she said we had a round on them for the inconvenience! Absolutely unnecessary but very welcome. Great place, great people, would highly recommend!!!!!!

my husband and I visited for the first time on a Friday night in September, and we had such a fabulous experience -- drinks, food, and service. so we excitedly returned just weeks later, and the experience couldn't have been more opposite. it was very clearly busy in that there was only one empty table available for us, but they offered to seat us, so we settled in.
we placed our food and drink order quickly, but then we waited upwards of 90 minutes to actually receive our food. we waited so long that a table next to us started chatting with us about the long wait, ultimately leaving altogether before getting their food. I saw our server come out with their meals, asking someone else, "oh, they bailed too?" indicating that other tables had indeed left before receiving their food.
but we were starving and had already ordered, so how much longer could it be? well, we should've known things were bad when it was well into an hour and our server said she'd "just put a rush in" on our meals and they'd be out "within 10 minutes."
she was apologetic and did comp a round of drinks, but this place clearly has some serious staffing issues. and it's a shame because I think there's so much potential here. for the positive: my fish and chips were fabulous. my husband's beef stew was flavorless and had lots of bones, but he was so hungry, he just ate from my plate in the end.
this was genuinely the longest I've ever waited for food at a restaurant and it makes me hesitant to ever return again, at least on a weekend evening. I hope they can work things out and hire more staff so other people aren't left at their tables wondering "should we stay or should we go?"

The bartender is very disrespectful and unprofessional. When trying to ask the bartender for help because the juke box ate our money, he was extremely disrespectful. He told me it was “”not his problem, he didn’t care, and would not even let me finish speaking. I understand rough nights happen and I can empathize since I was a bartender before, but there is zero excuse to talk to someone the way he did.

A group of 8 of us went to the drag brunch last weekend which was 12-2pm. We got there at 12, had a drink and we all ordered french toast with bangers. The bangers were deep fried??? Horrible. Basically spent 20 bucks for 2 pieces of French toast. The place was full and there seemed to be only 1 waiter working, yet there were 3 bartenders. Totally understaffed. At 1:30 we were done, and the drag show hadn’t started yet. We left. This was my second time there, once before Christmas. I thought they would have had their staffing issues settled, but I guess not. Adios to Slainte.

Paid for parking. Walked in to no hostess or wait staff. Approached bartender to ask how to be seated. He blew me off in front of a full bar and said, “It’s going to be a while and to seat myself.” This is not a family place. This is a dump. I should’ve realized by its appearance but wanted to give it a chance. My family was so disappointed.

Came in on a busy Friday evening and was not super impressed with anything. Beer choices were subpar, menu was fine but food was meh at best. We got burgers and based on the reviews I just read probably should have tried entrees instead. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being super slammed. Perhaps we came on the wrong night, but I don’t think we’d go back.
My wife went to Slainte and was promised that the upstairs room would be reserved for our wedding after party. We were told and assured the room would be reserved and ready for us. When we arrived the night of, we were told "there is no upstairs room" and no-one had any idea of our party. Besides completely dropping the ball, the staff was extremely rude. This place is ran by idiots and they cannot be trusted with anything of importance.

Food was soooooo good. I highly recommend the bangers and mash, and the Irish poutine! Servers were attentive, very impressive since the place was packed. A little noisy, music overhead could be lower so you can hear your dinner companions. I would go back again!
