Buffet with a large variety of food sold on a pay by the pound basis. All the food is good, service always pleasant. Most go for take-out, the atmosphere is clean and utliitarian, not the place for a date but fine with a friend to chat over lunch.

Went with 2 friends who bought me here. For my first time I rate the food a 10. For customer service a 1 for being a first time customer the people at the register were rude, I stood there at the register waiting to pay and the cashier made me wait while he rang up 3 customers who were there after me. Then to get a plastic bag was a difficult task. These cashiers need to communicate to consumers about paying for condiments. I was charge for salt n pepper..Really..all these spanish workers are not friendly, they seem bitter and rude to be there.. They lucky I ain't call ice on them for being so disrespectful. Cashier didnt know I spoke Spanish when he tried to call manager on me. He quickly stopped the call when I spoke Spanish. All I was trying to do was pay.

I love taking food home from Gourmet Express especially in the late evening. It's so good. It's a go-to when one doesn't want to cook. I've been a customer dating back to 2013. However, they're cheating us on our slices of carrot cake! After buying their carrot cake for years, I've noticed the slices get smaller and smaller (see photo), but the price remains the same at $6.97. The slice today is worth $3.00 at best. The carrot cake sells out faster than the other desserts. Sadly, I'm not buying the carrot cake after today... unless they make the slice larger. Not good guys!
Located near a gas station. Don’t be deceived. Gourmet Express is a hidden gem. I usually stop by twice daily. The food always fresh. Never over seasoned . And the variety is outstanding. So much to choose from. Juice bar , teas and coffee all excellent. And the cashier’s are all fantastic!! I always generously tip. It’s become a second home for me. Trust me, try it out and you’ll be impressed.💕
