Shadow Lake Golf and Restaurant

I used to be employed there not long ago. They have roaches all over the kitchen and bathroom. I personally wouldn’t recommend eating there even if the food is good

I had my wedding at Shadow Lake this past August, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our wedding coordinator Ryan is amazing at what she does and made sure the day went so smoothly. The staff made sure everything went to plan, and our guests loved the food and the beautiful venue!!

One of my top three favorite venues to DJ weddings. Ryan and her staff with Ivana are absolutely amazing!! Do not hesitate to hire them for any of your event needs. Food is always amazing and the space is absolutely gorgeous.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding on 9/28/25. It was a wonderful day. Our wedding coordinator Ryan was so easy to work with and made the whole experience wonderful. The entire staff was great too. Delicious food too. Highly recommended for your special occasion. Thank you Shadow Lake.

This review is for the golf course only which charged fifty dollars for golf and cart on a sunday afternoon. The greens were shaggy and apparently had not been mowed in a couple days. The tees were hard as a rock and we lost several balls in the fairways as there are areas that are not mowed.
When we finished around four o'clock, the bar was closed.

I ordered a New York strip steak medium rare which was served medium rare. A friend also ordered a New York strip steak medium rare and got it well done. The temperature of the steaks served were room temperature which was an issue. The steaks had lots of gristle. They were served with 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 3 green beans. Portions of these 2 sides was tiny. We were here for a dinner reception. Servers roaming the room had chicken on skewers that were cold, dry and overcooked. The food was disappointing. The bar and drinks served were fantastic. My rating would be lower due to poor food quality, but the facility, outdoor areas and bar brought it up higher.

Played pickleball at the country club. Beautiful landscape, quite courts and a gorgeous day.

Our daughter was married at Shadow Lake in July 2025 with an outdoor ceremony and clubhouse reception. We were very happy with the entire day. The wedding coordinator (Ryan) was so easy to work with from our first visit. She was attentive to every detail in the planning meetings and on the day of the wedding. The staff was friendly and equally attentive. Most of our guests were from out of town and had never been to Shadow Lake. We received compliments throughout the day about the beautiful venue, the delicious food and the great service. We wholeheartedly would recommend Shadow Lake to any couple who hopes for a dream wedding.
