The winery's look and feel impressed visitors, and the $15 vineyard tour provided a comprehensive understanding of grape growing and winemaking. Guests were able to sample a variety of wines, including sweet, dry, red/rosé, and Riesling, and found it difficult to choose which ones to purchase. The food, while taking some time to prepare, was delicious, with the garlic pizza and cheesy garlic bread being particularly enjoyed. Visitors have also discovered this little gem on summer road trips, often enjoying outdoor lunches and a few glasses of traminette, which they found irresistible. The winery is known for its friendly and welcoming staff, who offer detailed explanations of the wines, their processes, and history. One visitor noted that the staff, including a retired home-economics teacher, provided excellent cooking and pairing tips that complemented the wines perfectly.
